sishades Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Top top drawer and looks like he has formed a good partnership with big Dan.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 The criticism after the Bournemouth game was over the top. Big fan of his mentality, classic type of defender that we like at Leicester. Will make the odd mistake but what defender doesn't these days 1
SecretPro Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Absolute worldie of a player. Making Amartey look solid as a rock too. Has changed our season.

As far as making Amartery look solid I’ll reserve judgment to after next week, or the opposition isn’t struggling at the bottom end of the table
Countryfox Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Couldn’t help but think is he thinking WTF have I done coming here .. absolutely no worries on that score .. he’s going to be one of my favourites …. great attitude, no holds barred sort of player ! 1

After a season of poor signings it's somewhat of a relief to know we can still pull them out of the bag. For the love of god can one of those scouts PLEASE find us a right winger. It feels to me it needs to be a defender who is a little different to him, someone equally as good in the air as we need as much help in that department as we can, but a defender who isn't quite as full throttle in to the tackle as there's a risk we'd commit too much and have nothing to mop up and misjudged balls. Someone like Todibo at Nice or Rob Atkinson at Bristol City - the sort of wildcard signing we used to be immense at. Yeah exactly what I was thinking, I younger Evans. A steady eddy to cover the space etc when he goes chasing the ball. 2
Popular Post Hamilton Fox Posted 23 October 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 October 2022 That backheal after holding off their players was sublime 5
Eden De Bruyne Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 4 out of 6 games a clean sheet since this guy came in
Fazzer 7 Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Can’t believe I’m thinking this, but is Evans the problem? Even Amartey looks half competent along side Wout.

MrsJohnMurphy Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 What gets me is, he was signed out of the blue, not linked to anyone else, we just went in and a couple of days later he was ours Exactly the kind of signing we used to make 1

He has a presence that seems to be effective despite him not being exceptional. He just does the simple things and next to someone like faes that’s exactly what you need
Buzzell Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Him and Big Dan are becoming a very good partnership. Also Ward is looking very confident because of it.
Tielemans63 Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Let's hope BR doesn't change anything when Evans is fit again. Faes at LCB and Amartey at RCB is working just fine thank you 2
Filbert Fireworks Posted 23 October 2022 Author Posted 23 October 2022 The sum is greater than the parts. Alongside Amartey they both just click. He brings to the side a leadership and controlled aggression that has balanced the personality of the starting 11. Has the fox mentality. Never quits. The stars have aligned and it all just works. In wout we trust.
An Sionnach Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 He had a big job replacing "the worlds best centre back" sic. He is doing OK so far.
Popular Post Hammo Posted 23 October 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 October 2022 Fofana out till the New Year. £70 odd million in the bank. Faes looking like the buy of the summer. What’s not to like? 5 1
cruzFOX Posted 23 October 2022 Posted 23 October 2022 Absolutely LOVE this guy! If we can get Cags back to his best than we're in heaven. As for Evans the man looks finished. We can give him a bit part role but we can't build a long term defense around him. He's also too pedantic and it doesn't work with our fast attacking flow out of the back.
