Not sure how old that article is, but they’re going for the ex-Sevilla boss Julian Lopetegui (however you spell it)

...didn't the same article say that he (Lopetegui) had turned them down!!!

Nb

It was Amorin.

Isn't this article a week old pre-Forest?

One West Midlands club who could take him and a club Rodgers would consider would be Villa.

Would be interesting if Forest turned them over tonight if Gerrard got the boot....

I have a lot of connections to Wolves and almost everyone I spoke to about “who next” wanted Lopetegui. There was literally nobody else in most people’s thoughts.

There’s hope!!!! 🤞🤞

They know Brendan speaks Spanish right?

This would suit everyone. Let them have him for free.

We get the change we so desperately need, without the big payoff. He gets put out of his misery before his reputation takes further damage, whilst also bagging a decent job, with a decent squad. Wolves get a manager that I think would bring an uplift for a couple of years.

Of course, it won’t happen though.

Hopefully not, Wolves would be good under Rodgers.

Who cares all I am bothered about is LCFC! Wolves are welcome to Rodgers would be best for both parties.

In your opinion.

Fair enough though, Rodgers hasn’t got the team performing well enough for a while now.

I can't see Wolves would interest him. Can they match his wages? Would they have the spend he'll want? I reckon he'd see it as frying pan to fire. He'd want somewhere that can bankroll his ambitions.

Actually, I've answered my own questions; their owners are loaded, worth more than KP.

Go on Bren, you know you want to.

Can we stick him in a cannon and fire him in the direction of the West Midlands ?

Problem is with his ‘aerodynamic’ stature, he’d end up in Inverness

His ego’s gravitational pull may affect that

Star Alpha Brendantori 1 already has a moon in orbit, Kolo 1, with Top 362 a recent addition. Got I’m bored. The slow and inexorably painful descent upon the Championship with a redeveloped stadium, worse football and vultures circling on our players and future academy graduates isn’t as fulfilling as I first imagined. Maybe we should do something, something more pro active than wishing Brendan upon Wolves, to attempt to stop our descent, else were fulfilling the definition of a horror film: to set everything up so the audience can, unlike the protagonist, see the danger yet can do nought to stop it and must watch and squirm.
