More damming evidence that the referee made the decision to give offside in our game against Liverpool. Lino was going back to the half way line as soon as the goal was scored. Until the ref gestured (and probably spoke into his mike to him too) him to flag it off.

I seriously hate this current bunch of incompetent refs and PGMOL with a passion. We've constantly been getting done over these last few seasons.

It was a shocking decision and even more shockingly excuse of not having the camera angle. I guarentee if it was the other way round the goal would have stood

I think that the lino gave it for the wolves player next to the goal being in an offside position before the ball came back in, although he wasn’t involved in the play, got himself back onside and ultimately scored, that’s why the wolves bench were remonstrating with the officials. It was the commentators that came up with the player that took the corner bollocks. Should have stood and just shows how inept both var and the officials actually are.

Or as the first replay to that tweet  says :

“The referees use headsets to talk to each other. The linesman tells the referee he was offsides but doesn’t raise his flag until the play is over the. Once the play is over the referee signals to the linesman to raise his flag and the linesman walks back to where the offside”

I guess everyone will have their own view and theories ?!

I think the VAR people said the assistant flagged for offside against the corner taker and they couldn’t prove otherwise to over rule him.

But maybe you are right and that was a convenient excuse ?

It's like watching Arsenal TV, not ITV.

Becoming bored of watching games on TV with multiple ex players from one team.

Not a conspiracy fan but the likes of Wolves and Leicester as anyone else outside the rich 6 are screwed on decisions.

We were crap in the chase for the champion league spots but both Man Utd and Liverpool respectively were getting some very absurd decisions to help them on their way

The only reason I’m thinking this is I thought he was in an offside position before they replayed it. No way was the guy taking the corner offside and I doubt the Lino flagged because of him.

Ah good point .

John Aldridge too .

Bit like Arsenal had Alan Shearer and Micah Richards yesterday or Shearer and Dublin at Hillsbrough.

Just a representative for one team - not the other .

Had no idea Oxford were looking to leave the Kassam – whys that? Finally gonna get four stands somewhere?

They don’t own it. Lease until 2026.

Want a new ground near Oxford Parkway, way, way out of the city but understandable there are not many options

Noticed when we're on they were all over the underdog Gillingham. In the case Oxford utd v Arsenal. It was all about Arsenal, just London bias strikes again. Someone raised this on talksport recently... notable to two London bases hosts. Basically said "it wasn't true and people from the North were delusional" 🤔

Southampton 2-0 up v Man City at 50' -- yet no comments on here.  Do you UK-based folks not have easy access to these games?  That's a crime.

Man Utd 3-0 Reading for the fifth time in ten years is what the Cup is all about.

Really hope Wolves get through and ruin that scheduling.
