I’ve got to a point where I hate watching matches on TV they show every minute tackle, ref decisions in slow mo so you see all the mistakes: then you see all the things the players get wrong in detail and replays I find myself shouting at the screen and getting angry nothing like I am when watching at games. VAR is a pain at games and TV but with the TV you see all the illogical reasoning behind so many laws of the game.

Then there’s all the replays on none events, following players and the camera on managers and people in the stand all while the games is carrying on.

The pundits who hate it now are probably the same ones who wanted VAR in as they thought it would be perfect and then nothing would need to be debated .

No one asked the fans ofcourse .

Regarding Potter, I said last week that he's getting the sack after 2 losses against ManCity. But Arteta's sudden success might prove good for Potter and they'll stick with him? I don't know. They suffer a lot of injuries also like us. I still believe that the majority of British managers are very stubborn and outdated tactically.

Will depend on what the owner is like with managers who underperform which we haven't been able to see yet

Tuchel was mainly sacked due to falling out with the new owner

So why would we want him?

Like I’ve said before, it doesn’t damage his stock. Much better coaches go to Chelsea and fail. He isn’t ready and anyone can see it isn’t an environment conducive to a manager like Potter.

Still not sure how the ref didn't see the hand ball and need VAR was looking straight at it.

I think refs are ever more content to not make the tough calls, and wait to see if VAR cleans it up.

Mahrez plucking that from the air and delicately laying it to Walker was under-appreciated in that commentary.

His contribution often is; he makes it look so easy.

I think Potter would do a good job for us.

What do you mean by good job? Just out of my mind without checking Google: Rodgers is the most successful British manager in recent years (trophies, league positions)? If we get Potter what can we achieve more? I'd rather go for a Spanish manager.

But look at how Rodgers has completely ruined our club atm. Everything is grim currently.

I reckon Man City's scouting/training is pretty impressive. Some of their guys, I've not heard of before, or been aware of them being signed, so assume they're not mega bucks buys, yet they're talented technically and definitely don't look out of place. It's a well honed system.
