The Justin extended leg backwards to thwart the evil Spanish waiter was pivotal. Plus I was calling for ward to be dropped, he was excellent again today, made a good save and great catches from corners. It’s so much about confident.

What a stat lol

This is quite a ridiculous stat, not to mention we’ve scored quite a few goals already at 21 goals for. How shambolic has our defense been though at 24 against in the first 8 games!

I’ve got absolutely no idea if we’re good or shit.

I said it before after Palace and got some stick, so i'll say it again i think there are 5/6 teams worse than us but only when the players are giving 100%. I think a lightwitch has been turned on with them, even with Rodgers with his 5 decent substitutions, the right players at the right time. It also helps that our keeper has gone from one of the worst int the prem to a decent looking keeper.

We deffo have the squad to get the points we need but we need to continue the fight. Be very interesting if we survive what we'll do in the summer.

Joking aside, I said we needed 7/9 from these past three games, and while we put ourselves right up against it with that toothless performance against Palace, we've achieved that. Make no mistake, anything less and we were in the shit big time. Huge shift today and, for the first time in ages, I'm proud of the boys.

Forest was not so much our dominance as them really just being that awful. Likewise Leeds. And even with that 4-0 scoreline, I couldn't call myself proud - it only served to reset the counter after our FA Cup humiliation - ask me again after the return fixture this year.

Today, we pressed high, put together some gorgeous moves, actually counter-attacked against teams committing men forwards, clinical in front of goal and defensively were excellent and restricted them to very few gilt-edge chances. Ward, Faes, Barnes, Castagne, Tielemans and Justin all excellent, but nobody was poor. Wolves were crap, but we really put in a complete performance after a nervy first five minutes.

PS - I nearly cried when Vards scored, capped off a perfect afternoon and reminded me that he won't be around forever. I was genuinely starting to fear we'd never see him sh*thouse a home crowd ever again lol

A major issue coming down the line is that we will most probably lose Maddison and Tielemans in the January window.

Big Dan has become a scapegoat and this is the proof. In the last six games, leaving out the game he came in as a sub

  • Benching Big Dan: The defence let in 11 goals in 3 games, i.e. an average of 3.7 goals/game
  • Starting Big Ben: The defence let in 0 goals in 3 games, an avarege of  0 goals/game  :appl:

To the Big Dan Haters: Pick your poison

He's always been a scapegoat, but the stats show otherwise

The games have been against slightly different standard opposition.

True, but how many teams have let in 5 goals against Brighton and 6 goals against Spurs?

Personally we are running harder and working harder. You do that the result is mostly you are successful because you take advantage of oppositions errors.

Other improvement is that Rodgers has finally worked out how to use 5 subs effectively

Only 5 teams have scored more than us this season.

But no team has conceeded more goals

...and for most of those goals conceeded, Big Ben was not on the field

This is by no means a told you so post because I've been probably the most critical I've been about a Leicester team -

But to everyone who just comes on here and says we're the worst ever and we're nothing but shit, you are now officially full of shit and have to go and find something else to moan about.

Let's see where we are in a few games time. Don't get carried away pal.

We’re such an odd team. No disputing that a better opposition would have beaten us on Thursday and again today. We give up so many chances and I expect we’ll do the same and be heavily punished against Man City. However, 2 huge results in a row. Decent subs from Brendan today as well I thought.

On the issue of stats, one thing that used to be available everywhere in the old days, was home games... Won..drawn lost. Goals for and goals against, and the same for away games.

Can't find this anywhere ( managed to find goals scored/conceded on the club website).

What a strange game, ceding all possession to Wolves, having a shot count of 20-5 against us, and somehow still running out 4-0 winners. The Wolves owner was there watching this masterclass. He may be tempted to give Top a call regarding Brendan 🤞
