Sounds a bit fiesty up there post match

Been low key trouble against these basically every time we’ve played them since promotion.

Not shocked if it’s gone off being a Saturday night

Was about to say this. Kicked off last time I went to Goodison and that was a few years ago now, heard about other bits and pieces since too.

Going against the grain slightly here and despite being delighted with the three points I thought we were so profligate on possession and we really don’t create enough quality chances from the amount of possession we do have, especially against a really poor Everton team.

We often rely on a moment of brilliance which is fine while certain players can deliver - but if you take YT and JM out the team (something that looks likely to happen this summer) where does that leave us?

Faes has improved us no end at the back, but we still carry around this air of fragility that makes it feel like things could turn any time - it still feels a tad unconvincing.

Credit where it’s due - a good win with the right effort and subs. I hope we can continue to improve further.

Please lift your head..look at our squad

Those players are still here & playing..

Next summer doesnt interest me...

We are playing for NOW & not next season..Maybe Putin has nuked us all by then...

Football is about the present not anything what maybe...

When will this forum learn..

1 goal conceded in 5 games and that was world class.

Fantastic win and could have been a few more!

Amartey and Faes at the back!

Listening to TalkSport this evening and even had an Everton fan on, calling in to say that he’d just witnessed a ‘Maddison master class’ and that Southgate must be mad not to include him.

It’s bizarre really. This is the same manager that will take Maguire (who ain’t even playing) and Sterling (whose form is pants at the moment).

Bewildering

Brilliant all round tonight. For me there are 4 certain starter for England*: Kane, Rice, Bellingham, Maddison. The possibility of him not even being in the squad is outrageous.

*fit players

Brilliant tonight played well.  Maddison masterclass Tielamans wow......the stats speak for themselves if Southgate doesn't pick Maddison for the England World Cup squad.......the man's an arse.

He should also go Martinez, and ask him, if he could take Tielemans off his hand..

He's been out of his depth from day one. He's a moronically defensive manager whose teams are as exciting as a bowl of cornflakes. I try to avoid England games but he's made them completely unwatchable. With any luck someone will shove a bag of coke in his luggage and the waistcoated brainfart will spend the next 30 years in a Qatari basement.

Bit harsh that. I’ll just settle for him being exposed for the fraud he is and never getting a job in football management again.

How many premier clubs would have Southgate as manager? I doubt you’d find any championship clubs would either.

He talks bollocks about educating the world, and the Qatari workers wanting the WC there. He’s embarrassing and beyond woke.

Even players ahead of him like Mason Mount are inconsistent and generally not fit to lace Madders boots. It is staggering

Done wonders for the economy through waistcoat sales though lol

We are the strangest team ever!! First 7 games we concede 22, then the next 7 we concede 3!  And on top of that we're now top scorers away from home, despite starting the game in the relegation zone!

Are club is just special we dont do boring its either amazing or painful
