In all seriousness, it was just a difference in styles. 

 

Kramaric wasn't well suited to our high pressing, counter attacking style. Benefited from going away and playing for a side that wanted to pass it around and create more chances in and around the box.

They reached the final 4 years ago. They won't this time round because they are that much older, but on their day they can make anyone look like fools.

They are probably the most composed team in the world. They came from behind a few times in 2018 as well and did the same in the Nations League. Modric has to go down as an all time great when he eventually retires.

Qualifying above the US, Mexico and Costa Rica, I do think that brings some expectations with it. They deserved to beat Belgium, which would have made the final game interesting.
