Why do I get really triggered reading that interview with a Peter Taylor voice in my head

"My wife said 'I've just read that you've had 24 jobs' and I thought that must involve the playing as well, but apparently not. If you've had 24 jobs, you've had 24 decent experiences"

Just think of all the compo payments for being crap

TWAT!

It's a bit of a pathetic thread start but I wouldn't go that far! Wymsey's a decent human as well.

I’m surprised a group of LCFC fans hasn’t followed him to a few of the clubs he managed afterwards to hound him.

it would be a little bit weird to do that…

There are some decent sides at that level and good younger coaches. Taylor is a has-been, a shame for aspiring managers.

Honestly that's bloody generous

Is this for managers who no longer manage or is it for managers who manage yet no longer manage us? Clarification is surely needed.

Both.

I hope that's cleared everything up

He pitched up at Welling United last season or the season before, near where I live now. Thought about getting a ticket just to go and boo him, so I'm sure it does happen 😂

Looking at it objectively (which is difficult), he had a decent career at Gillingham, Brighton and Hull around his disasterclass with us. That was over 15 years ago however and, as has been noted, was shocking at non-league level last season.

I'm not interested in slagging off Taylor anymore, what happened happened the club survived and we are where we are now. I think it's great that an experienced coach/manager is giving up his time to help out a local non league club, he's not doing it for the money although high profile managers are rarely a success at this level.

It was all part of our history.

Had we not appointed Taylor, or if he'd done a better job, would we have won the league?

Butterfly effect.

I quite like how it worked out.
