Often think the better bet is a lowly prem team with half an eye on the relegation fight rather than anyone else including top end championship teams who have some momentum behind them at least.

Assuming the favourites get through tonight, Southampton at home would be my pick.

Although got to fancy our chances against anyone, incl. The winner of Man City/ Liverpool who would likely play their reserves in the next round still anyway.

After the Man City vs Liverpool match.

https://www.efl.com/news/2022/december/carabao-cup-quarter-final-draw-details/

Games to be played the midweek after the FA Cup weekend (w/c/ 9th January). Who do we fancy? Home or away?

Newcastle

Wolves

Southampton

Blackburn/Forest

Charlton/Brighton

Man U/Burnley

Man City/Liverpool

Any home game is fine for me, don't really care about opponent. Obviously a "lower" team might be preferable but we can beat anyone in all honesty.

In order for me all at home

charlton

blackburn

burnley

southampton

Forest

wolves

brighton

any of the rest

I kinda want them in the quarters 😂

I NEVER want to play them. Ever. My hatred of them is visceral.

Think of how much Jeremy Clarkson pretends to hate successful women. Magnify that by x1000. That's how much I despise the.red filth

Still probably the best shot we'll have at Europe despite the upturn in league form

Also a chance for us to complete the Domestic Clean Sweep under the current owners and complete the collection for Vardy

And Albrighton and Amartey.

Home game this year was a highlight for not only this season, but my 2021.

Charlton please. Getting to a semi-final of a cup without playing a Premier League or even a Championship side would be a piss take but class.

I’d wouldn’t say no to Charlton. Would like it at home though this time.

Since the FA Cup is the week before we most teams will probably play a combination of 1st and 2nd string in both. The exceptions are us Newcastle and Charlton will probably play our 1st team and Liverpool will probably play their 2nd or 3rd string.

For that reason I'm hoping one of the premier league strugglers or Charlton.
