This club is on another planet with this stuff.

An army of security to stop a mass sleepwalk onto the pitch.

Does make me laugh.

I'm not inclined in the slightest to run on to the pitch, but I'm tempted to run on at around the 78th minute just to prove a point.

I'm not really, but isn't it silly that they line the pitch like that at 80 odd minutes every week? Anyone with the inclination would just make sure to do it earlier.

As others have mentioned, once again the singing section put in a real shift tonight.. I’ve actually as always came back with a croaky throat.. even the middle was alright tonight as previous comments says it breaks down, but tonight well done everyone.,

I ain’t going to say anything about l1 and the Wednesday fans, im sure it’s the acoustics as to why I personally couldn’t hear them.. maybe I’m going deaf in my years.. I’ll await the comments as to it being the fortress again lol

I was surprised as there were a fair few gaps in the section tonight..

and to top it off Enzo walking over at the end and tapped the badge on his top was absolute quality.. what a manager!!

Atmosphere was definitely better for decent periods. In G1 there was some good noise. Can always hear the singing section that are right next to us but could also hear L1 too really clearly for first time.  So much so it was conflicting in which chants to join in with. If only they could synchronise..

Fatawu chant awesome.   Good renditions for handful of players.

Please god please can we get something decent for wout.  Simply saying his first name (and incorrectly) is embarrasing and sh&@.  He deserves so much more.

I’d love to know what the club spend on stewarding, I think you could cut the numbers in half - huge waste of money.

Whats the justification? We’ve had one (crap) pitch invasion at home in a decade.

Plus as TommyG said, they’re hardly imposing at all for the most part.

If only the 6000 people inbetween could get up and make some noise this would be a non issue!

My first live game in years, so I'm comparing it with mostly 80s and 90s. It wasn't as bad as I feared, to be honest. Well done to all that tried. I've lost my voice!

Two notes, though, on the general change in football fans in that time.

1. The couple next to me were snacking on sushi and dried fruit.

2. The whole row in front of me, maybe eight people, arrived ten minutes late, left five minutes before half time, and never came back.

Weird!

One game this season (can't remember which), UFS started singing the Imperial March at them. Hope it catches on.

All those  that leave at 80 mins.. arent beating the traffic.. they become stewards.

It’s a complete waste of money, and 90% of them look like they aren’t fit enough or don’t have the physique to stop an invasion of ants never mind Barry from the saff after 5 Changs and a sniff in the loo.

It’s what happens when your H&S manager is effectively best mates with Showsec

I sit in J with my old man and L1 used to get things going in my block but they’ve died off over the last couple of years. Whoever’s drumming these days is woeful, they insist on banging every word rather than a steady beat and the drums out of tune. Kills off chants quicker than they start.

I think part of the problem with people not joining in with the singing section is nowhere near enough know the songs. To get the casual fan onboard it’s usually the classics (E I E I E I O, clap clap clapity clap Leicester, we love you Leicester we do etc) not a song about a specific player sung at a fair pace. In a way the singing section might be part of the problem and solution, it sounds great but isolates people as well.

Overall I thought the atmosphere was good last night fwiw.

All sung multiple times each game, along with other sings that have been around for donkeys' years.

Every classic has to start off as a new chant at some point...

They'd be better off getting the stewards to block the exits. Yet again pathetic from the 'beat the traffic' gang after 75 minutes. I find it absolutely weird beyond belief.

Is there ANY other form of entertainment people piss off half way through the second half? Imagine doing that in a theatre or music performance? Despite being pathetic its also disgustingly rude.

Just giving my perspective. I’ve sat in SK2 for years and have frequently left with no voice, but I don’t find it easy to join in with.

As a comparative, felt the atmosphere was better than Swansea at home, exactly two weeks ago. Union FS were superb and some attempts from other parts of the ground. Was great to sing Enzo’s name a bit more, positive that it’ll catch on by the end of the season for the whole stadium.
