Because managers hold a decent amount of power and if they are repeatedly asked difficult questions by a certain reporter they will just cut them off (bit like Nige did with Stringer, under different circumstances) so Journo's tend to keep their powder dry to avoid this.

Which in turn makes every single presser a damp squib because you come out with more questions than answers.

Great to hear you three skewer the main villains in our depressing story arc, you really nailed it! Cathartic but heartbreaking all the same.

When you consider what the club has essentially thrown away.. all that hard work just to have it undone and chucked in the bin through mismanagement and negligence..

The pendulum will surely swing back at some point but it's gonna take a lot of time, some brave decisions and many pound notes to fix this properly.

Hijacking this to ask if anyone can post a link to The Overlap where Jordan talked about us a few weeks ago?

Also great pod as usual gents! I honestly think I would have gone mad 2 years ago and this season had you guys not existed 🙏

Great episode again boys, really cathartic.

The point around using South American and Sandi leagues to buy players is so true. Take Brondby, where we clearly have watched them at some point, as we bought Hermansen from there 18 months ago. Their 19 year old left back Clement Bischoff was on the verge of a move to Brighton this window for £6.5m, before it all fell through on deadline day.

How can we not be all over this kind of deal, yet shrewd clubs like Brighton, who get value all the time in transfers, are? Particularly when ‘cheap full backs’ was apparently all we could afford. If they think he’s good, we should be thinking the same.

Spot on episode as always

was shocked about UFS getting stick wtf

I remember when our fans were actually known for being an angry fanbase (generally were back then)  - the current malaise of "happy clappers" is astonishing

sometimes extraordinary action is needed to improve the situation - and I don't mean violence but pretty much all other options should be explored

The abuse of UFS im sure is by some in that area conformation bias.

Think everything we all feel is echoed by the podcast this week. I am in London and was planning on doing West Ham and Chelsea but can't even justify it at £30. Probably cost me a third of the price of doing a home game and I just cannot justify it whatsoever.

The guys on the podcast definitely echo the majority sentiment on FoxesTalk, and we all know it isn't reflected in the larger fanbase - but I couldn't believe what I was hearing this week.

I haven't been to a game since before Xmas and things were a little less desperate, but the stuff about supporters in SK1 having a pop at UFS and others speaking up against the shit-show that is our football club was astonishing.

We all know a large section of match-going fans are fairly innocuous happy-clappers, but I was surprised to hear the rabid KPFC militants are coming out of the woodwork again - and in numbers.

Clearly the disgusting incidents with the Brendan Out banner guys were not isolated.

Ric made the excellent point that if we got ourselves out of the diddlies here - they'd be a good section change their opinion on the current situation. We are by enlarge hypocritical.,

Hahahaa I was absolutely nowhere yesterday. Not ran now since Sunday 16th February and I'm beyond livid. Been ill that's scuppered my half marathon and then I've maintained the slump. I'm going on the dot at 6am tomorrow for a blow out, need 15-20km in the bank.
