Probably the wrong thread actually but...

 

On the xG point, I use xG a bit for betting and I can't ignore the fact I think there's something in it because I've won more than ever since doing so  but the tables I use place us actually about where we should be, but with these points...

 

- Our attacking numbers are awful, only Bournemouth and Palace have created fewer chances. Although Palace have played a game less, so if you were wanting to win this bald man fight over a comb you would say only Bournemouth create less than us. You have to thank Maddison, Tielemans and to a degree Barnes for our attacking overperformance. The fact we've created the 18th most chances, yet scored the 10th most goals is a huge anomaly, and quite obviously a big problem when we're going to lose two of those in the summer.

 

- Defensive numbers are actually better than last season, but like I said, we now have a worse goalkeeper. I don't think it's exaggerating to say we could be around 9th/10th with an average goalkeeper rather than Ward.

 

- West Ham are underperforming and are likely to pull out of it.

 

- Chelsea have been genuinely awful, amazingly, worse than us.

He's never that popular anywhere and that should tell you something to be honest. I don't think we're the problem.

One thing i've realised is that our club staff such as ticket office, and decision makers will get a kick up the backside and a wake up call should we get relegated and our ground is half empty most weeks. Will have to start worrying about actually shifting tickets rather than deciding which circus acts to add to matchday.

I think you’re underrating our fans. Of course there is always more interest when we are doing well, as with any team but to say a lot of them aren’t bothered what happens on the pitch is inaccurate at best. 

Hopefully they are more positive than some of the contributors to FoxesTalk

Don't think the KP has ever been half empty most weeks, even in league 1. Will probably have to scrap or rethink the extension but there'll be 20k+ in every week
