Given Top the benefit of the doubt. I still believe he cares deeply about the club and the fans.

He needs to a) sack Rodgers now and b) give the new manager minimum £50million in this window to bring in 2-3 players

If he does neither of those, then he needs to be honest with the situation and sell up.

Rodgers Out now. Not even a debate anymore.

Out and sell.

Rodgers is done, there is no way back for him.

Top can still redeem himself but he has let the club get into this position where we face going down and we have players running down contracts. Its a long road ahead and so far he’s not shown he’s got it in him to steer the club back in the right direction.

But that affects the polls legitimacy?

Nah... this will be more legitimate than the Brexit poll, at least noone can lie about the damage being caused.

Maybe call this the "Brenxit poll?!

Thinks that's pretty much where I am at.

I don’t want Top to sell up. The guy loves the club. Whoever comes in won’t love the club. Before you know it we could be in a bigger mess than we’re in now. I’d just like Top to go out and find an investor who will take a percentage in the club and pump the money in that he clearly doesn’t have.

There surely no way anyone can want Top to continue? We need to think with our heads and not our hearts. He is not operating like an owner that wants us to be successful anymore. He operating like an owner who wants out. His long term plan since the passing of his father was to get Leicester a new training ground and new stadium expansion. In the meantime he balances the books whilst remaining a premier league team and at the end he has a nice ready made premier league package to sell us. Thats is the reality of it on the grape vine whether you believe it or not.

When Chelsea lost to Fulham the other night, the bookies immediately slashed the odds on Potter being the next manager to be sacked from 4/1 to 15/8. We lose today and the odds on Rodgers being the next casualty remain serenely unaffected at 14/1. Which shows what the bookies think about the likelihood of our board taking decisive action…

Voted Top to stay… but big changes needed.

Rodgers to go.
Rudkin to go.
Complete root and branch review of the club and how we operate.

Make the 3 (minimum) signings we need in Jan, get Dyche in for 18 months to hopefully steady the ship and get the players organised and fighting for each other. Can then review where we are at and how we push on again.

Top needs to go.

He's rinsed the credit earned from his dad for far too long now.

He hasn't got a clue, or, seemingly,  the money, so bye bye.

If Vichai had sold after winning the Premier, and these were new owners, we would all be wanting their heads on pikes.

Yup.

Just looks like some spoilt kid that's inherited something he's got no idea what to do with.

Shame really.

I put sell but that’s not true… I’d like him to get outside investment but sell a stake. Even if we get all the decisions right, you can only do so much when everyone else is pumping money in

Top relies on Rudkin and Whelan... unfortunately, they have both been found out.

Get rid of Brendan, Rudkin and Whelan and PUT SOME BLOODY MONEY IN!

Out and sell. Our form since Christmas and our inability to have an effective transfer window since the pandemic started has told me that neither are fit to be chairman and manager.

We'll probably be in the Championship no matter what happens, but least we can start anew with a manager with new ideas and an owner that can proactively invest in the squad.

I think the abuse aimed at Top on here, particularly a few posts I saw in yet another Rodgers thread, is sad and a little confusing.

If there is genuine concern about the financing of the club then sure, questions can be asked and his future here debated. But for years we've all said we have the best owners in the country, they've given us this and that etc. As for his stance on Rodgers, before I give a slightly more balanced view on things than most on here, I'll make it clear that I want him gone too. Whether you'd like to admit it right now or not, Rodgers has done a good job here. Multiple best placed finishes in our history (aside from 2016 of course), a European semi-final, an FA Cup/Community Shield win. Even last year when some fans like to make out we escaped relegation by a whisker, we finished 8th. In a results-driven business it was a decent season. This season has been something of a horror show of course, I don't really understand how he survived up until the first Forest game but he did, and the run after that definitely bought him more time. Our season can quite easily be split into 3 - Pre Forest (H), Pre-World Cup, then post World Cup. The first third was unorganised chaos, the current segment is just totally uninspiring. Anybody still passionately calling for his head after we beat WHU away is probably the sort of person who is delighted we lost today as it gives them something else to moan about and probably an opportunity to say "told you so". I can see why he still appears to be fairly loyal to him, not that I agree with it, but the abuse i'm seeing towards someone who has done what he has for the club and city because his opinion doesnt quite align with theirs is sad to see.
