The "It's Not Politics, It's Only My Opinion" topic

In my opinion this labour party is very uninspiring, but compared to how incompetent this Conservative government has been since the last election, they are going to look like political geniuses.

If this topic is anything to go by then in my opinion Labour could do very well at the next election. Although it's easy to underestimate the difficulty in overturning a large majority.

I get why this is a widely held view but I do think it's innacurate and damaging.  It diminishes the accountability and responsibility of the actions of the genuine crooks (Zahawi, Boris, Bridgen and Mone), the bullys (Raab and Patel) and the liars (Philp + many many more) and drags down the credibility of genuine serving politicians.  I don't doubt there are similar characters on the other side, but they're not in government and get a pass (for now).

In "my opinion", it was tarring all politicians as the same that contributed to the killings of Jo Cox and Sir David Amess who were exemplary politicians serving their community.  There are 650 MPs with the majority doing essential. hard, honest work and are being let down by a minority of malevolent, self-serving gits.

Your probably right to be fair.

Just to counter act that it's not all Tory MPs who are sh1thouses, my last local Leicester east politicians for Labour  though were Keith Vaz and Claudia  Webb....big majority of sh1thole in my previous constituency.

In my opinion though my previous comment  was probably knee jerk and well countered by you.

In my opinion it is certainly not only the tories who have dodgy MP's,  however the bar fro taking responsibility is always for the tories.  In my opinion if any of those mentioned in Zere0's posts been Labour/Liberal/Green MPs they almost certainly would have resigned, before they were sacked.

In my opinion of you do wrong as an MP there is little honour  if you resign prior to being sacked.

It's the act of the wrong that they seem to think is sanctamonious.

In my opinion, it's not just MPs it's the Met police too...

I agree,  but the point I was trying, badly,  to make was that in my opinion in all cases if wrong doing Labour/Liberal/Greens would have known the writing was in the wall so would have jumped.

Imo, Boris Johnson needs a spell at his majesty's pleasure regarding his latest claim. If Putin really did threaten to kill him with a missile, then it's not really in the public interest to know about it, and if he didn't, i.e. a downright lie, then it's not really in the public interest to be lied to, again, and again....

In my opinion, locking someone up for lying places me in an awkward position every time something new gets delivered. I have to say that I'm against the idea, in my opinion.

In my opinion, I can see why he's told people and I can imagine it caught him quite off guard. I don't think there's any harm in knowing that Putin threatened a world leader and it serves as a reminder for other nations as to who they're dealing with.

In my opinion, Considering how the Kremlin claims Johnson is lying,  one of them is defineatly lying! and as far as i know Putin's never been sacked for lying, yet.

I’m not sure, I think it’s to try and suggest this isn’t a politics thread but that’s just my opinion.

In my opinion, you're correct.

A known liar and attention seeker declares that a known liar and psychopath threatened him.

The known liar and psychopath denies this.

That's cleared things up, then.....
