Some of Rodgers' comments this week have had more of a positive tone.  I honestly don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon.

The club like Sergio Conceicao. That’s who I think they’ll get. But I’d like Nigel Pearson, because the club will need healing after Rodgers has left.

If we sacked Rodgers tomorrow then I'd get Pearson in to keep us up.

If we survive then Pearson isn't the right choice, we've moved on as a club and Pearson would be a step back. Always move forward.

 

From the list Slot or Fischer are the only realistic managers I'd want.

So did I. His turnaround at Burnley has been very impressive. No way he will come though as he wants that promotion on his CV. I don’t think Brendan is leaving either any time soon.

For all you NFP lovers, the sadistic part of me wants him back so we he can finally dispel aura that this guy carries with our "expert" fans. He may have got us promoted a few times, but his record since has been pish at numerous clubs. He is not the future and his career post Leicester has more than proved that.
