kyleolly Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 We have 3 strikers and all 3 can’t play as a lone striker but we’ll still play with one up front 1

Sounds like it might be more to do with Kieffer Moore turning down a move to Millwall, which would’ve opened the space for Daka. 1

Fansincethe80s Posted 1 September 2023 Posted 1 September 2023 Keiffer Moore refused to go to Millwall.

Maybe we were right to, we’ll never know the full ins and outs. Maybe they weren’t right for us/the player. It’s not ideal for either party if he stays and gets no minutes. I still think he’s been mismanaged here, but we’ve had a promising window overall and cleared out a lot of surplus this window.

If he plays a single minute from this point on, it costs us £5m. If we have no intention of playing him (which we dont) then literally giving him away would have been beneficial to us.
