On the one hand we look a bad proposition but actually we've got winnable games.

 

Manager comes in, steers the ship right and either gets a big payout/ contract for saving us or puts themselves back in the market. If it goes wrong "not me guv, they were fuched before I got there".

Need someone who can come in quick.

 

Someone with relegation dog fight experience.

 

Someone who can give theses lads some good advice and guide them to safety.

 

He will need to get our back four defending well again.

 

For me it has to be Big Sam or possibly Rafa till the end of the season.

 

But I feel having the experience Big Sam has with keeping teams up for the next 10 games could be massive for us.

Wonder if the potential availability of Potter was a factor in the club letting Rodgers go? The board are reported to be a big admirer of him. 
 

I’d also be happy with Benitez, Hassenhuttl or Pearson - both Benitez and Pearson can sort out our defence.

That was my thought, to support Stowell and Sadler.

 

If you appoint someone now, you could end up getting a PL manager to manage a Championship rebuild. This is why they should have made the change much sooner. There will be a much wider field available in a couple of months
