One of the issues I have with Rodgers is that the conveyor belt of talent which we could’ve sold has completely dried up thanks to his management style. We could’ve demanded big money for the likes of Soyuncu, Barnes, Ndidi etc, yet they’re all crap now.

It’s been covered by a loan hasn’t it? I may be wrong, but we’ve committed? Unless anyone can say otherwise, but if not the plug needs to be quickly pulled.

Wasn’t it more that the covid/global financial issue ruined the opportunity for large sales for 2 years, and that basically buggered our model during that period?

No, we haven’t even got full planning permission yet. The only stuff reflected on the books to this point is purchasing land, consultations, designs etc.

We didn’t write them off. The owners wrote off the loans we took out from them.

I see, so, if and it’s a big IF. If we went down, the plug could be pulled without too much damage caused? Excuse my ignorance but I haven’t really been following the plans to be honest that closely.

No one wants relegation of course but such is the quality of our youth system that we’d at least have the likes of Alves and Braybrooke ( once he recovers) to come in and play  if we do. That’s if we manage to offload some of the high earners! Plus Iversen might finally get a game

 

 

I feel like we’d be better prepared that some, if we go down.
