If it’s the same old tactics and mistakes then it’s down to the assistants and players. My worry will be the assistants will just ask for more of the same but better. 
 

Press from the front and get at them. Both Daka and Nacho will start to press then stop 2 metres away and let them walk and play a perfect pass.  That surely must be orders from BR. 

We miss Cags bringing it out from the back and hitting those diagonals to Barnes

Cags, Harry and Faes can all hit them and also bring it out but that was only 1 pass to get it out of our half not the 25 that was required.

Feeling more nervous about this game than any in the past 6 years. The West Ham, Vardy sent off, match probably the closest, for very different reasons.

Often the interim manager would not want to tinker the team selection too much after the sacking of the manager. I hope very much we don’t stick with the same team as last game. We were utterly crap. For one thing, we need to start Mendy and Nacho.  I hope we see the return of Soyuncu too - I was going to say in place of Faes but Souttar was worst last game. I also want to see Ricardo on the right.

Yeah! Think we are too open in midfield and I don't trust soumare or ndidi.

 

It's actually a role that could suit him and be less harsh on his body too.

Actually looking forward to a LCFC match for the first time in ages. Guaranteed I won't be saying that when we are 20 minutes in and Villa have had 20 shots 🤣
