We need at least 2-3 signings to give us a chance to stave of relegation.

If we don't have the money, he needs to come and say something along those lines.

we do but i doubt we will and if we do they'll be over 30 and add nothing to the team

Rudkin is a dinosaur in the DoF space, hes been left behind and its plain to see,

im honestly shocked Top cant see this

Half a billion down the drain, John Rudkin strikes again.

Our initial recovery and success were down to Pearson and his team and Walsh and his recruiting. I don't know what Rudkin's credentials were before he came to City, but, in the jubilation that surrounded the title, I suspect he was included in the approval of Vichai. Vichai was new to the game and learning. Whether he'd have sacked Rudkin by now is a hard question to answer. But he died and Top took over. He hasn't his dad's business acumen, so I guess he's relied on Rudkin. Both of them are not doing City any favours. I don't believe Top has the decisiveness to sack Rudkin or to abdicate himself. It's the runaway train scenario. While this has all gone to fvck, we fans are relying on an inexperienced manager and a bare bones squad to save the day. It's football comedy hell.

What did he say?

Literally called him out, said he di help Matty Piper with his issues when he was the academy coach BUT in this role he "needs help" or needs to "move onto a more suitable role"

How does that help?

We are trying to move on players, telling the whole world we are despite to sell doesn't help our negotiation position.

Bit harsh on Shakey, god rest his soul, about Ranieri. To me, he never looked comfortable in the press and never looked keen on taking the job full time.

But I will never hear a bad word against Shakey. He gave us a fantastic premier league win, got us to the champions league quarter final and is part of the whole success of Leicester City.

If Rudkin didn't like him that much, why was he back with Dean Smith?

I would take this whole article with a pinch of salt, to be honest.

Just a bizarre hatchet job, I didn’t think Shakey was up to it as a manager but the too clever by half line is just completely vapid conjecture.

Ashton has always been shit.

I agree. Shakey was always an assistant and a coach. A bloody good one at that. Him and Pearson were the perfect combination.

He knew that I feel, but I thought at the time he looked and talked like he was pressured into it in some way.

Stabbing Ranieri in the back, I definitely don't believe. The article sounds like Ashton had an agenda.

For me, Rudkin has lasted longer than his used by date and we need fresh blood. Split his Jon into a more modern system

The article also states that Vardy and Kasper wanted him out without saying as much, which you can believe - surprised they turned on Shakey

Shakey gave Vardy the biggest hug when he returned with Smith. I would also be surprised if he turned.

you can't get away with being shit at your job and/or a ***** in football commercial. people will either a. take advantage of you when word inevitably gets around that you're clueless or b. not even bother dealing with you because you're hard work

rudkin seems to fill both criteria and we've been mugged off as a result.

I'm fairly sure there is an interview somewhere with Shakespeare in which he said that he never really wanted to be a manager but the club asked him too so he took it as he loved the club

He hasn't got any. Zero.

He has literally spent his entire working life with City, from a schoolboy trainee and part-time coach to somehow making it all the way to the top.

It is exactly the reason for him being so out of his depth as he is.

The lack of recruitment at this pivotal time when we are in dire straits speaks volumes about this clown and the hierarchy.

Unbelievable
