Looks like getting to 50 points should be our target this season. (Which looks like is the total needed to stay in the league)

If we get there by January, then push for promotion top 6 places

What drugs is Rudkin on ...I want some. lol

Credit where it's due, he's getting decent money for our outgoings. Now he needs to show minerals to go and get players in somehow

Still want him gone!

Willing to give Rudders some credit for getting decent fees for a couple of players in the last year of their contract. 👍

However, there is plenty on the debit side of the ledger …..and a large part of why all these sales are necessary is down to him and so, he has a fair way to go to balance things up.

A good start would be backing Marti with a striker and a new 6.

Credit where it's due but I still want him out.... Before he departs, however, back Marti with a new LB, CB (to replace Faes), 2 x midfielders and 2 x strikers..... There's some gems in the Championship and League One!

Close the door on your way out afterwards 😂😂😂

Rudkin: sets house on fire

Rudkin: calls the fire brigade after 5 or 6 hours

KPFC: No but you've got to give Rudkin credit for trying to put out the fire

credit where credits due, he only let it burn long enough to cause serious structural damage.

As some have suggested on the Justin thread, the decent business we have been doing selling assets is very, very out of character for Rudkin. So much so that I doubt it is him pulling the strings on them.

I say this without any inside knowledge whatsoever, but I wouldn't be surprised if Whelan and Top have given Rudkin a bit of a backseat on things (or he himself has voluntarily stepped back) and this dude Glover has taken over the reigns in this window.

In his pre-match interview on Saturday, Marti said he is working with "Jon and the rest of the team every day" on the squad, so not suggesting Rudkin isn't in the picture at all. But perhaps the actual negotiating and dealing with sales has been given to someone else.

Credit for undoing some of HIS unforgiveable calamities over the past 5 years? Absolutely not. The bloke has cost the club millions and now we find ourselves relegated and in a firesale. Add to that we havent added any actual talent for a long time. Blokes a *****.

Read this on FB. 🤦🏻‍♂️ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/178rmNAYSx/?

I don't agree with the PSR argument—that mess is entirely on the club. Rudkin, Whelan, and largely Top are the ones responsible for the hole we're in.

As for the protests, the "Facebook happy clappers" say we should protest in other ways but that crap, our voice are heard loudest at the matches. Regarding the abusive language aimed at Rudkin and Whelan, it has always been part of the game. Some may argue it's shouldn’t, but I don't think it's something that can ever be fully stopped.

Clearly his egg and cress sandwich wasn't as enjoyable with the bad language around him. People like him are the exact reason nothing will ever change.

Roger's lost the plot.

It hasn't affected the Brighton model, hasn't stopped Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth being in the mix, and most recently didnt stop Palace picking up silverware. The difference is those clubs didn't gamble their 10 years of progress away on chasing immediate success. There are fans of this club that will never believe the hierarchy can do anything wrong. Top could be banging Roger's wife and it would have been because Covid ravaged the duty free business.

Both things can be true.  We are badly run and PSR is a crock of shite.

Whilst I totally agree about us needing to adhere to a much better overall model and strategy as a club we have still been shafted by PSR.

Also, realistically none of those clubs has been pushing for top six.  The FA Cup is achievable as a one off.  But Palace have absolutely no ambition to break into the top 6, nor do the others realistically being content to be feeder clubs.  Villa and Newcastle do have those ambitions and I think overall their transfer strategy has been fairly sound.  Yet they are both prevented from accelerating progress by PSR.

Meanwhile Manure have been run like a clown show for years yet spend with near impunity because of commercial revenues tied to historical successes and profile.

All that said Roger is a pillock.

I have thought about this a lot over the weekend and these deals are just a bit too good for Rudkin to have made. There must be some 3rd party helping to negotiate the sales - maybe for an extortionate fee.
