He should be embarrassed about the recruitment of Cooper. A truly shocking decision. The incompetency that could have directed our DOF to think he was the right man means Top should in turn, be seriously assessing Rudkin’s future at the club.

He needs to go. His continued masterclass in negligence is disgraceful.

No top club has ever come in for him and that tells us everything.

The reality is they’ll all be patting their backs today for hitting the red button but again, with no succession plan.

interesting that at lest one article on the sacking has mentioned Cooper was never 100% Top's preference (and there were reservations at board level). Who the hell backed him to be the manager with such conviction.

Also it has been reported that his removal was Top’s decision and Top’s decision only, does this mean that Top has bypassed Rudkin in this instance and is taking the lead on this recruitment process. I think it was Top who appointed Enzo as well wasn’t it?

I think we know the answer to that one

I am not sure Rudkin is as involved in this process as he was in recruiting Cooper.

This Cooper episode really has got to be the final straw.

You do wonder if the penny is actually starting to drop somewhat for Top now. I am nowhere near sold on him, but I'm pleased to see that he looks like he has genuine concerns and I've not felt that way for a long time.

The thing is there's such an easy way out even with all this Thai cultural guff about loyalty and saving face. Just give him a bullshit job that can be framed as a promotion, like Exec Director of King Power Sports Group or something like that.

Your reminder Top that the solution to this is actually very easy.

Very simple. Bin.

But Top will need to find a replacement before getting rid and for that he needs connections with football knowledge to give sound suggestions

Whatever we think of Rudkin, it's bizarre to get his decision for who to employ and not consult him at all for the sacking.

Top doesn't know anything about football and he shouldn't be making footballing decisions.

We need them all gone now.

I think usual protocol will be that Rudkin advises on the proposed manager and Tops signs it off, clearly this time he had reservations about Cooper, maybe Rudkin was that convinced by Cooper he put his reputation and job on the line and as a consequence when it was evident it was a car crash of an appointment, Top stepped in and got rid.
