We are going to be wide open there is almost no midfield. Don’t understand why Mendy overlooked again. Some decent players dropped and unproven ones brought in for a crunch game. Massive risk IMO

Reads like 4-2-0-4.  Quite the innovation.  We've been losing games in midfield ... so, let's play a double pivot but no midfield.

I’ve sat with it, thought about it, and not reacted immediately.

 

I’ve come to the conclusion that this lineup is absolutely ****ing bonkers.

 

The only formation that even vaguely fits the players picked is 424, which is an extremely bold team selection to put it mildly.

 

That midfield two is paper thin.

 

Let’s hope the chaos works in our favour! :scarf:

Everyone knew it wasn’t a good sides playing vardy alone up front so they have sorted it and played everyone up front with vardy 😂 should be an exciting watch

Why are people moaning?  We absolutely do not score enough goals and we aren't good enough to pass the ball in to the net because our players don't really play that kind of game.  It didn't work for 18 months!

 

I expect our game plan will be to mostly bypass the midfield where possible and make it stick with 4 players further upfield and work from there. If we press from the front when Wolves have the ball and actually really put a shift in, this could work.

 

People on here seem to be asking to go back to what hasnt worked for pissing ages!  

 

We needed a totally different shift in play, and we've got it.  Let's see what happens.
