Last night's penalty miss had me thinking - what other moments this season have we dropped points, and where might we be if we hadn't? With both Villa and Palace recently we dropped a point by conceding late on, against Brighton in Jan we dropped two points with an 88' minute goal. With Everton, and the examples above, we'd probably have an extra 6 points and looking safe.

Any others spring to mind? If you don't laugh, you'll cry I guess?

It’s football..some bright spark said again last night.

.Cu‘d haves shu‘d haves, Wu‘d haves.

You play the moment ,the time, the game that plays out, the league after 38 games

tells and represents,the gud,the bad,the ugly of your season….

Should ,does not exsist in any sport…

If it makes you feel any better, think about all the times where we've picked up undeserved points due to a moment of quality for Youri, Madders or Kel.

You mean 2020 to 2022?

We've shot ourselves in the foot so many times this season it's hard to pin point one.

If you look all the way back to the start to the Brentford game, looking good 2-0 up and threw it away. Just set the tone for the season.

Was it that game that Vardy had a penalty overturned by VAR? There was one near the start of the season that was a soft pen but still a pen.

Brentford at home for me. Rodgers spoke ill of the squad all summer. To give a 2 goal lead away at home just dented our confidence and weakened our inner belief.

Then the world cup break when we had some real confidence and momentum.

The amount of times we've conceded late is ridiculous. Fitness issues were glaring yesterday, but thankfully the team have a bit more resolve and grit in them prevent more conceded goals or last min winners.

As bad as Maddison's miss was, there are also plenty of other in game pivotal moments. Even just yesterday - Vardy's (?) header off the line, the missed one on one. Amartey's missed header vs Chelsea. Souttar hitting the bar vs Southampton. Barnes easy miss vs Forest. Iheanacho and Maddison missed chances vs Man Utd.

Danny Ward playing too much is a pivotal moment in itself lol

Soyuncu being outcast for Rodgers' own ego boost is also one.

You've got to look at it that way & you hope the players are too.

Like Smith said, it was the worst we've played under him & we still didn't lose. That's three on the bounce without a defeat. We've not done that since January.

Fulham are without their two best players & an important defender at the weekend. Plenty of positive signs.

I seriously hope Madders does something pretty special in these last games, especially something that keeps us up.

I'd hate for my overriding memory of him to be that penalty miss last night if we go down.

Whenever I think back, read or hear the name Kermorgant my only and instant thought of him was that peno he ****ed up on and I seriously don't want that in my head regarding Maddison, I want great thoughts and memories to jump on as he leaves us..

The obvious difference being that Kermorgant tried something incredibly cocky in an important shootout on the back of a season in which he did absolutely nothing for us, apart from scoring a decent goal against Boro after we had sealed our place in the playoffs.

Maddison has provided us with some great moments and hopefully, he will have a few more before he departs.
