You’re calling us from the future where he’s 40 and still here with a Champions League winners medal aren’t you?

Ah.

Yep.

Sorry about that.

Forget I said anything.

He's not a real title winner though, not one of the immortals. That's the classic eleven plus Ulloa and Andy King. Honourable mentions perhaps for a couple of others (eg Gray, Dyer...), but Amartey? No more an immortal than Inler.

Dyer is so in that list. The goal he scored against Villa, virtually knocking himself out, to win the game in the final minutes when we had been 2-0 down. If we had lost that, I think a lot of belief would have gone out of the squad. Beaten by a poor team at home, yeah... it looked like we might, but hey, this was more like little Leicester. But no, up pop's Nathan Dyer.

Honestly, I think it's the most important goal in the history of LCFC. Not the most spectacular or memorable, but without it...

For that reason, Nathan Dyer is inked into the incredible team of 2015/16.

Makes more sense rather than AC Milan

Besiktas are in talks with Leicester City centre-back Daniel Amartey, with Caglar Soyuncu providing a reference for him to coach Senol Gunes, it has been claimed in Turkey.

And according to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, Besiktas are in talks with Amartey as the Turkish outfit are eyeing bolstering their defensive ranks ahead of next season’s campaign.

It is also suggested that before the talks were held, Gunes received information about the Ghanaian from his compatriot Soyuncu.

Perhaps one of our strangest 'Scapegoats' ever. Still defies logic how someone who was supposed to be a 5th choice CB (Behind Evans, Soyuncu, Vestergaard, Souttar) can somehow be blamed for the problems in the side.

I'd have more than been happy with having him as 3rd/4th choice in the Championship, in fact, I don't see why he couldn't be a part of a promotion winning partnership, unfortunately he's been criticised for the faults of others. Again, I don't understand those who are criticizing his passing, it's arguably better than Evans/Soyuncu/Faes, at least no worse. The bigger problem was that the midfielders in front of him never took responsibility, whereas he was always willing to bring the ball forward and play ambitious passes. Yes, some wouldn't come off and would put us in trouble, but Tielemans would pass to Amartey all game when they played together and 'One of our greatest players' (Laughable) would constantly pass all responsibility to Amartey.

Get him gone. Nowhere near good enough for the wage he’s on.

He would be a monster in the Championship - one of the realistic players we should keep if persuaded.

Not in his wages. You can pick up somebody younger and cheaper who will be on half his wages. We need a full reset and he epitomises the decline at this club. He’s comes across a nice bloke and a good professional but he’s average.

But if he's willing to accept 50% wage drop he's a dead cert. If he can get the same or slightly better deal elsewhere he needs to way up the value of Seagrave and having guaranteed first team football as well as being settled in the area. A wise agent would probably tell him to stay and build his reputation, - he could even play himself into a premier league team again, if of course we were to get promoted and he's obscene...

We've complained for a long time that many of these fringe players are lower Prem or top Championship at best - well that's what we need now!
