I think it was explained on here that MacQuarrie take the parachute payments in lieu of TV money can anyone confirm this is correct who knows about this stuff?

Will memberships sell I wonder? I don't see the need to get one, going to have a lot of games with M1 block available too as away support from the likes of Rotherham, QPR, Preston, Blackburn etc won't top 1500.

Guessing the incentive to renew ST will be price freeze and 4 extra games.

All of this is the Boards/Owners fault, not taking quick enough action getting rid of Rodgers.  No signings, etc etc

The pundits are saying its not Rodgers fault but it is, no plan B ever.  If we are to go down we will come straight back up but this is a real royal f*** up from the owners downwards

You could even see Top with a tear in his eye yesterday your father would be ashamed mate - you have fu***** our club up royally on your own - well done

Believe that’s correct, Macquarie advance the funds against future receivables and Club has to pay back plus interest at specified date

I don't think it's absolutely dire, but it will certainly mean we can't spend our way out of the Championship. We'll need to be very canny in the market in terms of the players we recruit, there is plenty of value out there (as we have shown many, many times before) and we'll need to make sure we get good fees for our 'best' (ha, what a joke) players.

What's the situation with FFP in the Championship?

We sorted out our previous issues, but I can’t see them being lenient with us if we breach again.

We will obviously lose a lot in TV revenue and probably sponsorship too. However, we should hopefully get huge fees for Maddison and Barnes which in championship terms would be anything over £50million for the pair and with the likes of Soyuncu, Tielemans, Amartey and several others leaving, that should massively reduce the wage bill. Hopefully those factors will soften the financial bow somewhat.

Haven't we got something looming over us from when we got promoted?

Not sure a lot realise how bad things are going to get for us financially.

Didn't we pay a fine for that to go away?

But then, we’re going to be overly cautious again aren’t we? We will end up losing every player we’ve got who’s worth anything. But then who do we attract? Steve Howard?

I’ll be more accepting of relegation, if we can actually go out and get some quality young players in. Invest wisely and build a team with the potential to grow. But we won’t, as everything recently, we will **** it all up.

They won't sell but there will be a middle manager that is entirely responsible for that scheme and they won't be letting it go without a fight.

Don't expect to see any games on General Sale whilst they make one last attempt to push memberships.

The loans are to improve liquidity, so from a cash flow point of view we will probably be in a bit of a mess. Having said that we will get a load of money from transfers which should be more than enough to cover us in the EFL. However I don’t think it’ll be sustainable to stay down with our training ground and the stadium expansion.

We paid a fine to settle that

But FFP is a lot harsher in the Championship and if you fail it they will nail you - transfer embargoes, points deductions etc. - and unlike the Prem they will actually do it

It could be a blessing in disguise. We will have to go back to scouting out talent and actually signing players that want to play for us rather than just being here for the money.

The loan players will be key. Look what Amad has done for Sunderland.

It's almost like we are starting again. I just hope the reset the lot. Clear out the backroom as well as the players.

Recon the implications are we are utterly ****ed with the Macquary loans taking our parachute payments and therefore the rebuild will happen off of player sales.

Maddison- £45/50m

Barnes- £40m

Iheanacho £25m

Castagne- £20m

Daka- £10m

Ndidi- £5m

We will need to bounce straight back.

Would like to see us try to get Amad from Man U if Sunderland don’t go up, would probably be a loan and that sort of signing should be the route we take.

Knowing SemperEadem the way I do, I can tell you that he would love to have Steve Howard back in a Leicester shirt.

No issues with memberships as most clubs have them now but most clubs don't charge for them or charge a small fee. Think it was £50 for ours which is a joke!

I would suspect that Adad would be sent to a newly promoted Premier League side next season. He's shown he's too good for this level this season.

If you think his dad would be 'ashamed' of him because Leicester have been relegated, you need to give your head a wobble. Get some perspective.

I like Nacho but there's no way anyone is paying £25 million for him with a year left on his contract. Can't see anyone paying over £10 million for Castagne either.

To be fair, I would.
