Like others I continue to hope.

The key fixture for me is

Leeds Vs WH.

A win for WH guarantees their Safety and makes our last game a lot easier.

The 3 points coupled with our goal difference might just save us.

I wouldn't say no to a point tomorrow night either

Not really, but they're not in Administration so I can still support them next year where ever they are.

Good on you for calling that out the comment was wholly unnecessary.

My rational self is 95% resigned to relegation, and accepting of the fact that frankly we deserve it. And despite the evidence I've seen with my own two eyes over the last year and a half, there is still a teeny bit of me that looks at the table and thinks' 'hm, we just need to beat Liverpool and we're out of the relegation zone.

It's 8.25 on Sunday evening. I suspect by 8.25 on Monday evening that lingering hope will have been extinguished.

But…...

I stand with you and I am prepared to be that butt….

The only hope I have is that this team have proved themselves to be streaky over the years and capable of sudden bursts of 4 or 5 wins out of nowhere following lengthy periods of mediocrity.

Not saying it will happen but out of the current teams at the bottom we are the most capable and likely to go on such a killing spree.

This might sound weird but I'm trying to see championship football next season as an interesting change from the recent era of the club. It'll be a different experience to what we've had in the last few years.

Obviously it's all a bit shit but it's better to appreciate the change of scenery than clinging on to hope that we'll achieve a miracle and being disappointed by our incompetence yet again. The only issue is that it's not going to be any easier to get tickets like it was when we were last in the championship.

It isn't over until it's over. If there's any source of inspiration for this team it's Jamie Vardy and Craig Shakespeare. If they can tap into their experiences, we may just do it.

Today I felt different to how I did in the days after Fulham, like a clean sheet of paper is in front of me, a revised focus, less ifs buts and maybe’s, a clarity that says beat Liverpool, likely get nothing at Newcastle then likely have our destiny in our control vs West Ham. Say it quickly and you almost believe it. Maddison, Vardy, Barnes, at some stage Nacho too, things can happen for us at that end of the pitch.
But then my stomach reacts like it’s in post curry tumble dryer mode when I realise that scenario involves us as a team keeping the opposition down to say a goal or two in each game in order to achieve those wins.
Even if we do something revolutionary like select a defensive midfielder and drop the pair who don’t chase back and are sloppy with possession (Soumare & Tielemans) I still don’t see us going half an hour without conceding let alone whole games. I wouldn’t recommend end to end Basketball vs Liverpool but the only chance is a bonkers 4-3 win full of incident, drama and perhaps controversy - we need it to be bonkers and unorthodox, we need magic, our front 3 have the capability for that but for all the stars to align at once is so hard to believe.

More games for the same money on next year’s season ticket. :S

However Championship games at best fall within category C (On the categorisation we’ve been used to)  most D and E. I doubt there will be any more expensive season tickets within the division and of course the resale platform will collapse. I’m seriously considering my options next season.

I think everyone from the Owner, Board, Manager, his Coaches, Staff and especially the Players, know the fans, everyone who loves this club, are just fed up.  The performances have not been good, with the Fulham match being the absoloute icing on the cake, with all this combined, you'd like to think we are in for some positivity, and a real fight of epic proportions from everyone involved, to keep us up, that's my take on it, and the only crumb of hope I can see.

What a state we find ourselves in at present, I'm 51 years old and proper Fu"%ed off, and annoyed im letting it bother me.

I had been pretty apathetic of late, resigned to our fate. Today I woke up with some new found hope that our date with relegation might be postponed if we beat Liverpool.

Even in the most piss-pour season Leicester city manages to come up with a single game of glory, winning a game against a team we have no business defeating.

Perhaps it will be Monday, at home against Liverpool with our backs to the wall. Jamie Vardy through on goal, sliding it behind Alison.

I think subconsciously I just want to control our destiny and have a chance on the last day to win and ensure survival, even if I think our fate will likely be sealed before then.
