I assume Harborough Town are in the same league as last season ?

Think they'll do ok again.

Outside bet for promotion......maybe.

Yep. Really competitive division and geographically everyone close by

Hope the general uplift in non-league interest translates into Leicestershire clubs succeeding. Loughborough is big enough to sustain a National League/L2 side.

Already looking forward to the fixtures being released and new places to visit in Coalville's league.

The Southern Central Premier looks like it's going to be some league next season.

I think they've played in Conference North before. Still, that's going to come at some expense.

They did, think it was around 2012-2014 IIRC

Just had a quick Google. It was due to Rushden & Diamonds expulsion from the Conference that led to them being transferred to the north in 2011.

Weirdly the travelling isn’t as bad as you may think.

You have Truro, Torquay, Taunton, Yeovil and Weston super mare in the South which will be on poorer roads.

It’s the legacy isn’t it of the former three divisions at step 2/3- Isthmian was effectively the London division while the Midlands suffered largely going in the Northern. Ultimately BS won’t likely because the North in my experience is better quality.

Mentioned the MFL at Step 5 earlier - it’s going to just 18 teams and that includes 3 from Cheshire. Meanwhile those 3 clubs move from the Manchester centred North West Counties to a 24 team league!

Looking forward to the NPL Midlands, pretty mad that there’s 4 Charnwood clubs let alone 2 other Leicestershire sides.

Hope Loughborough can push on, ups and downs last season but a top half finish & being above Shepshed is still an improvement on the previous season.

Well up for this season with Shepshed. Looking forward to away trips to rushden, rugby and the local Leicestershire sides. Shaping up to be a good division.

Fairly happy with them. Some good competitive games in there to get us ready for the season.

Crazy, weren't Yeovil and Scunthorpe in the same league as us when we were in League One?

Both down to NL North. Mental.

Yeovil were in the Championship with us when we won the league in 2014.

Presume they're in the NL South though?

Losing count of all the teams appealing their allocations - Northwich, Ardley, Stortford, Ollerton all unhappy.

Christ yeah that's even crazier.

And yes probably south tbf that's me being thick, either way they're going down to that tier.

All of them a waste of time - only club I have seen have a compelling argument is Shelley and they are trying to avoid the whole episode of an appeal because its a clear mistake by the FA

Harrow Borough have appealed because they have been reprieved from being relegated Step 3 to 4!

First one in for coalville. Great start.

That is a top signing. Get another CB in of that ilk and I'll start getting excited.

I like James Butler at Mickleover. Always looked good when I've seen him.

Unbelievable signing that is. I think missing out last season has hurt us and we'll be doing everything we can to put it right this year. Getting this done early is a great sign. Another RB and a CB of that standard and we'll be looking in good stead.
