Give it to the greatest manager (in his mind) that ever lived. Big Sam. Poach him.

Its not his fault we are in the position but unfortunately he has been unable to resurrect us. At least this probably ends any chance of him getting the job. Will probably take over at Southampton and get them promoted.

Why sack him? What will it achieve. The rot is so engraved in the squad, players and club it won't make any difference. The last 10 minutes showed that the players have checked out, given up. We're not getting relegated because of tonight. It's the whole season. We are the second worst team in the league and with a team of internationals that is disgraceful

No one cares about Jesse Marsch man let it go, now we can appoint someone who's interviews fit over the beat of The Escapist by The Streets. Also who might actually be in the job past September in the Championship.

Marsch ... with terms like soccer and offence ... error how about NO ...  as in never ever

No point in sacking him now but he can **** right off at the end of the season

The very fact he thinks it’s a great idea from every goal kick to direct it towards a bloke that can’t head the ball should be a sackable offence on its own

If you poached Big Sam, you'd need a bloody massive saucepan

Or a Big Pan for Big Sam. The man that can. OK that deserves a ban.

Dean Smith is not a PL manager. He failed with a considerable budget at Villa. Survived due to a technicality. Failed at Norwich who sacked him. Has had one decent job in the championship. Yet, we took one week of fannying about to hire him.

Dean Smith leaving is going to do nothing to this club. Let him have his last two ever games in the PL.

Not his fault for this season but clearly doesn’t have it tactically and I don’t want him in charge next season. Desperation from the club in appointing him.

Exactly...get smashed first half...expect changes nothing comes 2nd half and the 2nd half is just the same as the first.  Then the magic rodgers 60mins he makes 2 subs .....2 behind fighting for our lives, but still persists with one striker takes off width in barnes just to add it on the other side, why cant we have natural width both sides to stretch defenses? Oh i know so freaking sumare can play the whole game. Its so frustrating..yes tactically we are not going left to right to keeper all game, but everything else is still rogerised

To all those asking why sack him usually when you appoint a new manager you expect to see some impact and change in fortune, we have seen neither, Smith said when he came that believed he could keep us up, but he's never really been convincing and be honest lacklustre, the impression I get is he had nothing to lose by taking the job, he had no job, was sat in the wilderness of management, we were the gamble he couldnt turn down, which he wasn't going to lose, either way and a nice little earner for a few weeks work.

We have two games left at the very least we will have to get 4 points, these are the two most important games of the season. Basically this desperation stakes We need to take a gamble on someone else for the last two games stick with Smith it could all be over by next Monday.

He's achieved nothing.

We need to do the impossible by getting at least a draw at Newcastle, so might as well get someone else in who can do a better job of motivating them.

In his defence it was like getting the job of captain of the Titanic after it’d hit the iceberg. Feels like the whole ethos of the club needs shaking up and unfortunately feel like he’s not done enough to show he’s the man for the job. Thanks for the attempt but think we need to find the next Kompany or someone more like that.

You oblivious looking forward to championship football then !

As I live in Norfolk and spend £50 in petrol each game to go with my season ticket,  away games at Norwich and Ipswich,  both closer to me than the KP, does have some appeal 👍

Hard to blame DS, Top,Board and BR take the blame for this.

By the end of the 2nd season BR had done what hes done at all clubs pre Celtic, become divisive, blameless for anything, belittled players (yes he was right, some thought they were better than they were but all the other managers gave them so much belief, they were galvanised and had the confidence to take the game to the opposition, give all for the fans and the club but since he started spouting crap, the fractures started, players wanting out or not even spoke too.

We also have looked unfit for a couple of seasons now, something DS alluded to, we'll not get them fit in the short time he said, and for me he was right.

Then add the board and Top, the questionable players brought.

No activity in the summer window due to the clubs finances, but then months later, when its too late, he wipes the debt, yes a big thing but big time too late.

Tops been too distracted by non football related matters at the club, and also throughout his other club and businesses, obviously he hasnt been here as much since his dads passing.

he could do that before his dads tragic loss but that left a big 50% missing, Top needed to step up but instead, left a club with top 6 aspirations in the hands of a academy coach and a business ceo.

BR should have gone long before the world cup but definitely after the run before the WC.

Hiring of a new man, seemed panicked and unstructured, names like Marsch and Smith should never have entered the equation or been in a position to apply in the first place
