What has he changed since deluded Brendan left, absolutely nothing it's shocking what a crap appointment

We are actually worse than under Rodgers, and i didnt believe that would have been possible!  Crap team selections, poor organisation of the team, and no fathomable game plan.  No wonder Norwich binned him!

His team selections and subs are very questionable! Can’t believe mendy can’t get a kick I just hope we don’t employ him next season it would be a car crash he isn’t the man for Leicester

He will be gone anyway in a few weeks. I don’t think there’s a lot he could have done. It really is an example of a rot setting in. You’ve got a bunch of players who don’t give a ****, and  no leadership at the top of the club.

Wasn’t my choice for manager but, agree the players have checked out and didn’t fancy it.

if they had binned BR a few games earlier and appointed Dyche I think they could have got 17th but we will never know.

they have fcuked up and we need to drain the swamp.

if you look at him/his facial expression --he does look clueless at the best of times/

BUt if a miracle happens at Newcastle - which i doubt - Smith might get the F/T job at KP

His substitutions last night were awful. He never seems to know what formation and the players to use.

There's no way we are staying up, but I don't want him come the end of the season whatever league we are in.

The squad was rotten long before he came in. We had a bit of bounce 5 points from 3 games. Should have been a comfortable 7 points and the players have just mentally checked out again now.

I thought he seemed a good fit for the club but I think we need a younger manager with some ambition to rebuild. A 40 year old Nigel type please to start again.

Poor tactics, selection and motivation are laid at the door of him. I can't believe it would be this bad under big Sam, Hodgson,  Pearson or one of the other names that would have been available at some point.

But for me the minute Nacho got injured against Wolves I think, we blew our chance.

The club is run so ineptly I guarantee you he gets a 3-year contract once we are relegated. An absolute pub team manager at best.

It’s absolutely pointless to sack Smith with two games to go. We’d be back to Stowell and Sadler and that didn’t work too well before.
I think he’s made some mistakes but bar putting Mendy in for Ndidi what other options could he really have taken? The basic fact is most of these players checked out long ago and don’t have a clue how to nut up in a relegation scrap anyway.
The board should have acted sooner getting rid of Rodger’s and we’d probably be OK but that’s not on Smith.
He’ll be gone in the summer along with half the playing squad and hopefully more of the back room staff and we can start to rebuild.

I dont think it's a necessarily bad appointment, he did breathe a bit of life and good vibes initially, but like others have said, it's an impossible job. We have too many players that have mentally checked out already and just don't care that much. If these players had 2-3 years left, we'd be seeing a much better side I reckon - so good job to the club for that.

That said, some of his/the coaching staff's decisions have been pretty shocking. Defence is still shit, midfield doesn't exist and the player choices are strange (Ndidi?! Hello?). I feel like half the coaching team is still brainwashed by Brendan and the other half still think it's 2019. I think the players are also confused as to whether they should be playing half Brendanball and half hoof to Vardy ball.

I hope we have a proper clear out and start again with someone new with a completely new coaching staff.

I am an external ( Bristol City fan) looking in, only because I cannot comprehend why you have fallen apart ( you have been the Neutrals favourite club) . You can blame all you want on the manager, but this car crash has nothing to do with him. There are studies about "manager bounce" and it is worth almost nothing. The squad is the squad. Your recruitment went awol, and you have signed poor players. That is the harsh reality. Rogers slowly dismantled all that made you great. The good news is you have some amazing players, but. not a team or squad. Sort that, and you will walk the Championship next season. It may be painful, but this can be your reset to get you going again. Looking forward to coming to the game next season.

I wouldn't say no to a cardboard cutout of MON for the last 2 games.

We've had cardboard cutouts on the pitch so why not!!

Rodgers has destroyed our club. His borefest tactics have sucked the life out of players and fans alike. He was given to much power, and allowed to destroy the backroom staff.

Allowed to bring his useless mate Congerton as head of recruitment. He also took no notice of others so they walked.
