We'll go back to the Championship. Rudkin will refuse to accept Brendan has done severe damage to the club's foundations. Relegation into league one. Then we'll accept big changes need to happen. We'll go back into the Championship and start pushing for the Premier League again. Might have new owners.

league one if the appointment this summer is wrong (Russell Martin, the Aldi equivalent of Brendan Rodgers), back in the premier league and a stable lower half side if it's right

Haha. Aldi Brendan Rodgers to the rescue.

Death by football didn't kill enough people. We need a no-budge remake.

23/24 - Back to Back relegation confirmed on the final day of the season after a 93rd minute Faes own goal in Cardiff

24/25 - Promoted as Champions before Easter with a whopping 4-0 win against Derby who still can't get out of League One

25/26 - Mid Table, but did beat Forest 3-1 seeing Forest relegated for the 2nd year on the bounce

26/27 - Play Off heartbreak as Vardy tears his hamstring for one final time when through on goal at Wembley and eventually retires and declares himself bankrupt because his wife is back in court. Wrexham win on penalties and are Promoted to the Premier League instead.

27/28 - Justin returns from his injury for 3 matches and Will Alves is the Championship play off player of the year, but will it be enough to end our 5 years out of the Premier League.

KDH captain, Will Alves with a pony tail and is on 13 assists for the campaign. Sammy has become a hybrid of Modric and Busquets.

Were just about to miss out on Europe as we keep throwing away late goals from corners and individual mistakes as the pressure is too much. Singing section is no more and fans are strapped to their seats with padlocked belts.

New stadium is still being spoken about, Tops no longer sad and King Power is back with a vengeance to rule the worlds Duty Free. Luton airport only sells Leicester shirts. Rudkin’s gone, caught up in a scandal on the 2023 pre season trip to Singapore.

Regardless of which division we are in, we will still have the best fans' forum in the land. Kudos to the folk behind Foxestalk. I've seen other fans' forums and they are dismal compared to ours,

Mods. We all hate a crawler.

If we make the necessary changes from board level, all the way down then we should make it back to the Prem next season, or the one after.

I hope also Braybrooke and Alves can come back to fulfill their undoubted potential after serious ACL injuries and integrate into the first team squad next season.  We have 2 possible England payers there who will then be ready to take the Prem by storm.

NP back as manager and let him be to manage. Make sure whoever the new DOF is, consult with him so everyone is on board with the type of player required.

We will gravitate back to mid Prem level once more as the profile of the club is massive compared to where it was 10 years ago.  We should still be a draw for good players because of our recent history.

Celebrating another season of avoiding the drop into League 1, talking about needing a new manager for the summer and wondering whether this will be the first transfer window since relegation from the Prem where we buy anyone.

If the same people are still allowed to make the decisions that have been recently, we'll be in the same position this time next season, getting ready to do a double dip.

Do not underestimate the stupidity of the people in charge, they'll take one look at Burnley and think its a foregone conclusion we'll be back up.

After that, who knows, probably be the trigger for us to be sold.

Long term, we’re a mid-table PL level club in about every department about from at ownership and board level. We have the fanbase, facilities etc. What we need is competent people running the show - can’t see that changing unless we’re sold.

Depends.

With the current owners + hierarchy including Rudkin still in place - lower end of Championship and a possible dip into L1.

With current owners *engaged*, the necessary changes made to hierarchy and good decisions made with respect to rebuilding the squad, I can see a return to the PL. Having the right structure with an experienced Director of Football and manager is critical for the rebuilding job.
