I have faith that Top will learn from this. It was not good enough, he is as responsible for this as Rodgers is. Both of them have this on their hands. But I genuinely believe Top loves this club, and I believe this will be the kick he needed to take a firm grip and fix this mess. Either that or sell up.

Have a look at it, have a look at it at Goodison. I guarantee in about 3 years time we will finish higher up in the league than they will.

I think so too. Everton are a shit club. Their luck will run out soon.

This is it, I really do believe that we will bounce back and Everton will still be in this mess, but we will be in a much healthier financial situation than we are now, without the overpaid spineless dross.

Sack rucking sack wealan and we will be fine.

Get rid of 90% of the squad complete rebuild.

100s of millions needs to be spent if that can't happen then owners need to sell

It's been an incredible 9 years. We will be back soon. Make the right decisions, Top.

No we won't.

You think its that easy?

Retained list should be out and new manager in by the end of the week if we are serious about getting our act together.

I think some people are counting our chickens too early. It took us 10 years to get back last time. It's not easy, and I fear we are going down at the worst time: no manager, no leadership, half a squad, and no money to replenish it. Not good at all.

We had a great run. Won trophies, played in Europe, and played some sensational football.

So that's OK? And we go back to being a second tier club?

No. Its not.

Burnley went down and they don't have a pot to piss in. They made the correct managerial appointment and they came right back up.

Will we? They are such a spawny club, they'll find a way to survive.

That's not entirely true on the money front for Burnley, but I hope you're right. I just don't see our board making the same kind of forward-thinking decisions.
