The collective of this post is horribly elitist and rather blind to history of the club you support.

 

This year was the 8th time in our history we’ve won the second tier title. 

 

It’s also the fifth time we’ve been promoted to the Premier League - a joint record we hold with Norwich and West Brom. 
 

We’ve ALWAYS been a club that’s flirted between leagues - we even had a fling with League One once! 


 

So you know, Sheffield United were promoted on sporting merit, finishing in second place during the 22/23 Championship season with 91 points, 11 clear of Luton in third.

 

Should they have not been promoted? 
 

Should they have know their place and not try to break the status quo of those that ‘belong’ in the Premier League.

Everton were comfortable mid table without points deduction. Forest would be on 33 without deduction so still pathetic. We went down on 34 last year so woeful from them but the worst trio in Prem history in my opinion have kept them up. We are long overdue a nice victory at the City Ground. Would be nice to have pay back.

I actually don't think we are. I think we might suprise a few actually. 

 

Dont get me wrong we not gonna be fighting for a top place lol, but i think (hope) we should be able to hold our own

I don't dare make any real predictions about next season until I see what the squad and manager is like for the first match :P  (Though if we do get a bit yo-yo-ey over the next few seasons I won't be too surprised...)

Man City only 2 goals behind Arsenal I the GD. Perfect time for Haaland to stat pad against West Ham next week..he'll score 5 in a 6-0 win.

I haven't watched much of Chelsea. Is Cole Palmer actually good or is he a penalty merchant? People wanna squeeze him into the England starting 11.

I've had one of my Forest "friends" call me tinpot because we had a bus parade. 

 

Had to remind him they invaded the pitch because they made the Carabao Cup semi final last year. He's not seen them win anything bless him.

Coventry having a full length bus parade for wining the league two playoffs remains the ultimate tinpot marker

Doesn't reflect badly on us that this is the PL season we've missed. 29 points had you safe with two games spare and nearly every side flunked it in Europe. Been very entertaining, loads of goals, but think the defending for the most part has been abysmal. One of the weaker Premier Leagues.

Forest been stinking up the league since their promotion. Its a travesty they're still in the PL.

You rank ours and their seasons since we went up in terms of points, 12 years between us and Forest's points tallies account for the 10th and 12th best efforts. Genuinely very lucky to have not gone down already.
