That effort from Kayembe lol

0 goals from Leicester, Leeds and Ipswich combined.

Meant it too !

Looks like all the teams in mid table did well tonight .

No pressure I guess .

Well we can view this midweek two ways.

We've had a huge slice of luck due to other results, somehow we're still top, with a game in hand.

Or

We've missed a huge opportunity to restore a lead at the top.

Ipswich will feel worse about missing a huge opportunity. They knew the other results before kicking off.

You can bet if we won last night that Ipswich would have won tonight too lol

We can or we can speak about how they didn't get "lucky" instead? Your choice.

Speaking of Ipswich's luck do we count ourselves lucky that shot they had which beat the keeper, smashes of the post, across the goal line and then got cleared :dunno:

Eh? Why is that the choice?

All well and good but we're not beating Plymouth

our last two wins have both been at home…

I may be wrong (often am!), but I really think that  Ipswich will only get 4 points from Middlesbrough, Hull and Cov

That is a tasty run of fixtures.

Honestly with the pathetic attitude we had last night it really was as if "ah well we have a game spare we can toss this off" and they've got it back, so I fully expect a repeat at Plymouth.

After this weekend we play twice before Ipswich play again, we could make it seem a huge job to catch us if we win

But do you trust us to? 😂

The pressure is immense, the prize is so big and for everyone constantly predicting Ipswich and Leeds will win every game, you really aren’t taking the pressure into consideration. Not source how people come to the conclusion we got lucky, without noting that the other two also got lucky…

If we win v Plymouth and either of Leeds or Ipswich lose Saturday we will only need to win 2 more games of our remaining 4.

Its so close but so far

I would suggest that the midweek results were slightly favourable for us, pre match implied chances of winning were:

Leeds 75%

Ipswich 67%

Leicester 58%

Both our rivals failed to win at home to mid table teams, solitary points don't really get the job done when your heavy favourites.

Yesterday we needed 5 wins to guarantee promotion, tonight we now need four. It's another game ticked off and we're still top of the league with a game in hand. Also remember we just need to avoid finishing bottom of this three team mini league, we're still very much in the box seat and have room for error.

Have you not leant about this sort of posting.
