Popular Post Nod.E Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 He didn't get everything right, but he gave us much needed honesty, accountability and gave the impression that he chucked everything he had at the cause. Seemed a genuinely nice bloke which was refreshing after years of slime from Rodgers. All the best, Deano. 81 1

Popular Post HankMarvin Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 At least Terrys putting improved even if our defence didn’t. 6
Fox92 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Met him at Walsall away prior to the Cup game earlier in the season, he was a sound guy then. Hope he gets another job somewhere soon. 8 games is difficult for any manager to turn it around. But the board are completely at fault for that. It's disapointing we only took two points out of Leeds and Everton, they were the games he needed to win during his time here. 4

Thebluefox85 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Picked up where he left off with Norwich absolutely shite games we needed to win he got it completely wrong wrong choice can’t see him getting a decent job again! If he was any good we would of kept us up thank god the club saw this and haven’t taken him on permanently
Larry_LCFC Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Terrible appointment, out of his depth and basically followed BR lead until it was too late. Thanks for nothing Dean. 3 1 1

And yet then the goals conceded in those games were still player mistakes. N'didi assisting Villa's winner and Maddison assisting Bournemouth's winner. I know you make it clear you dislike Rodgers but the players are a disgrace as well. 2

Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 That Fulham game. Leaving Souttar out for so long. Part of the abomination of this season was appointing him. I think you've got to look at Rudkin and Top's failings more than Smiths in the first place not firing Rodgers earlier. Also seeing Stowell and Sadler in charge for those two home games was criminal. At least John Terry got a few rounds of golf in.
Buzzell Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 All the best to him but he blew the opportunity to keep us up, lets be fair.

Popular Post Buzzell Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 On the other hand, Terry not shagging any of the lads wife's is a major success. 6

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Seemed like a decent enough guy and came into a dreadful situation caused by Rudkin and Top.

TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Tough gig. Did his best. Didn't keep us up. Best for all parties for him to move on. 1
FoxinNotts Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 meh, he was ok. not great. some weird selections tbh, and that Fulham game was the pits.
filthyfox Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Against Newcastle I saw the best 10 minutes of football i saw for a long time... right at the end of the game after soaking up barrage after barrage. I think Smith did the best he could. Top and Rudkin are fully to blame for not ditching Phlegmdan earlier
