On balance , they do OK , beaten us 8 times out of the last 12. Is that failure? Not really , failure is getting relegated.

Failure, when you’re Spurs, is the belief you can do better than Arsenal and win some silverware every single season. I’m not comparing us to then - there’s levels.

How may trophies have they won compared too little old leicester in the last 30 years

1 league cup vs 1 PL title, 1 FA Cup and 2 League cups.

I'd take the odd relegation.....

Most would not. Continued PL status is what matters to the fans in the end. Leicester by the way is not little and given the size of the city should always , always be in the top tier. We have failed to sustain that, time and time again. We have a bigger mountain to climb than Spurs now.

That's like saying during the end of mons time here covs 30 yrs + in the prem was better than us only being there for 6 years, finishing above them every time, winning the league cup twice and playing in Europe, and at least 4 Wembley trips for plays offs. Even before the more recent glory, it was definitely better being a Leicester fan.

They've won 2 League Cups in that time, haven't they? I remember being at one nasty final.

No real sympathy here.

He wanted to go for a good while.

Apparently Arsenal snubbed him due to his dodgy hip/s.

Imagine selling Kane and investing in this weak mentality sky sports cliche muppet. This is going to be so fun to watch.

They won the Tiger cup this season, and the Audi cup last season.

That's a little bit harsh. He did win the FA cup with us after all

He did, but was very much a bit part, didn't play in the 3rd round, played 90 minutes in the 4th round.

From that point he managed 72 minutes in the next 4 games.

Given the choice between our last 30 years and their last 30 years, there is no way any football fan in the world picks theirs.

And when you factor in ours includes relegation to League One and going into administration, it demonstrates how badly they have failed as a football club. Yes they have stayed in the Premier League, and even played a few seasons in  the Champions League - but ultimately they’ve won the same amount of League cups as us in that time and we’ve also won League One, Championship, Premier League, FA Cup and Community Shield.

If we continue to see the success on the pitch we’ve seen, most would happily take a few set backs along the way.

In terms of city size, Leicester is about 10th in England - in that though London, in terms of population is about 20 times bigger and supporting at least 5/6 Premier League teams at a time. Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool all have 3 times our population supporting 2 Premier League sized clubs. Cities like Leeds, Sheffield and even Bristol have way bigger populations than us.

Whatever way you look at it, we being an up and down club - too big for the Championship and not quite big enough to continually challenge in the top flight alongside the likes of Nottingham, Newcastle, Derby, Southampton is roughly where we should be by any metric.

The club, despite last seasons set back, is in a great position, in terms of financial backing, expanding the stadium and facilities to ensure we can more regularly compete at the top end of town.
