He's a nice guy Coady and a good pro and I'd imagine he's good in the dressing room but given his age, injury problems and lack of playing time since he's been here, I don't think he's going to be a premier league quality player now. We have to hope that Faes and Okoli don't get any bad injuries and if we have a recall option, I'd be bringing Nelson back in Jan and have him competing with WF and CO.

That Indian bloke is Manny who does loads of stuff for charity around the Wolves Community. He was the one that recently walked for 48 hours straight around Molineux.

The team needs a leader.

Maybe cady is the man.

I’d rather have Putin at the back.

Coady has been gash since pre Everton

Centre back pairing is about the least to blame for that shitshow as anyone tonight, lol

Coady coming in would be like giving a prosthetic leg to someone with massive heart failure

the second goal wasn’t great from okoli - needed to be tighter

the third goal wasn’t great from faes - needed to make a decision

I’d say our CB pairing was light years behind theirs

Just amazing how we put in an absolute shitshow of a second half, after two weeks of people saying we're starting to see a CB pairing develop, and people are waiting in the wings to say that a fella who has played about 30 mins - and cost us points while doing so - is somehow the solution to our woes

I'm hammered and absolutely seething, and yet still I'm glad to say - Get a grip

Do I think Coady can solve our defensive issues? no. Do I think he's worse than Okoli? Also no. But if Steve thinks Abdul has had to tweak his game to play in the Premier League then I'd suggest he drops Okoli for a week or two as well.

I'm not sure Coady gives an absolute oil tanker like Wood space to turn for their second like Okoli did and I'm also not sure he makes that cock-up for the 3rd either.

He is absolutely worse than Okoli. And he’s only going to get worse.

Okoli isn't the CB that needs dropping

Okoli made one mistake in letting an inform striker (currently only outscored in the league by Haaland) a little too much space to turn and get a shot away.  And for that he should be dropped?

Christ.

The only way you can use Coady is in a back 3. He isn’t mobile enough or good enough in the air to play in a back 4.

Tbh if we did go down the back 3 route then I’d prefer Vestergaard to him as he’s a better footballer but I’m pretty sure the relationship between him and Cooper is not great.

A Leader of men on the field who is wasted by Cooper who would galvanise us and keep us in order boss the team into playing together and tighter but then cooper hasn’t a clue how to play us or what 1st 11 is his best the often subs on a traffic cone in Soumare when we have perfectly decent options on the bench IMG_9117.thumb.jpeg.1bdb300a4c6747c46bcedd2e1fc46617.jpeg!!

Yeah I don't feel like Okoli was ever going to be amazing given Atalanta sold him for the price they did. But he's probably best we could do this season.

Speaks volumes that we were still constantly bidding for centre backs after we signed Okoli. The club clearly knows they've ****ed up with the Coady signing.

The wages he's on would flag up at any club as a massive error where heads would roll. But here it's just par for the course. Well done again Rudders.

In a back 5, what you lose in terms of one on one defending with Coady, you gain in his vocal organisation of the 3 CBs, reading the game, stepping up to intercept balls, and sweeping up behind the other two either side of him. All of which he's very good at. And he has a very good long range pass on him to hit the wingers with.

You’ve said cooper doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing but in the same breath hinting that Coady should be in the team, just like England v Greece and Lcfc v forest it shows the fans have absolutely no idea, Coady is obviously this years albrighton where people who have no idea about football think just whacking an over the hill experienced nice bloke into the team will suddenly solve everything

When we first signed him,  I thought it was a decent signing, prem experience and good leadership but I think the injury lay off he had at the start of his time here just killed him. Then Faes and Vestergaard both played well last season and he couldn't get in the team. Alarm bells should have probably rang though that Everton didn't take up the option to buy him considering it was only for around £4m I think, especially given they aren't exactly blessed with decent centre backs.
