Didn't expect the questions to swing to one answer so favourably.

Just on Q2. It's the 'optics' more than anything else. The bloke is accused of never leaving Top's side in fear of other people talking to him. I think the impact of staying behind looks far better than him in full training kit within Thailand

Question have a little bias towards how the OP is feeling I sense.

Would have bedn easier to say he don't like Rudkin , feels like the club don't care and thinks the players should be here running around Bradgate Park.

All perfectly valued feelings but would have been easier to just say that in one of the hundreds of unhappy posts we have about the club since relegation rather than post a poll with leading questions to try and see if people validate his feelings.

Maybe some work on his self esteem may be worth while to make him feel better about things.

Surprised most have answered ‘No’ to the last question - The prediction thread has most posters putting us in the top two!

I’m actually a positive person generally, but I can’t be about this season. People seem to be able to operate on blind faith, but I would need to actually see something to suggest a change in our recent fortunes.

People were even positive about the first 30 minutes today!…a 30 minutes in which the opposition were clearly just finding their feet, and we were just average - At best.

The valued by the club question is interesting. This pre-season has seen us play one match where a decent proportion of local fans could attend. Two scheduled glamour friendlies played thousands of miles away and two others played behind closed doors at the training ground. It feels hard to be involved because we generally haven't been.

Why not book out Burton or Northampton and play Leuven there and get a few thousand in if you don't want to open the KP?

Can't fault the new management, can't fault the new players, it's just that the incompetent numptys remain at the top and I still see complacency at the heart of our club.

...don't you mean 2.00pm!!!

2:00pm Sunday more likely.

Although I do recall that on 3 August 2013, after the team to face Middlesbrough was announced - featuring Vardy and Drinkwater - some numpty posted “Pearson out!” before a ball was kicked.

Of course, Vardy and Drinkwater both scored, and we romped home that season as champions. Probably best to keep opinions to oneself for a few weeks at least 😎.

Not positive at all.

Tell me anything that gives us positivity for the most important season in a long time.

Depleted squad asset stripped, lack of creative players to replace them. Vestegaard starting friendlies, players who don't want to be here. An unproven coach.

For me it's a recipe for disaster and the optimism is completely blind.

Reasons for voting like I did.

No 1 , this tour is nothing but a vanity mission by the owner. Should have been called the (top aren't I brilliant tour). When really it's all a bit forest. Parading trophies from years ago but we have been relegated. Hope to god they don't show the pre match montage this season . That would be very embarrassing.

No2. Rudkin should be working his nuts off to bring in quality players for this level that were identified 6 months ago as stevie wonder could see we were  going down last September.  To not have had a plan already in place is criminal.

No 3  top as the owner should have had major shake ups . Yes the manager has gone but those in charge of footballing matters and commercial matters are still there. Winging their way through life . Hence the jolly in Asia and  the arrogance regarding the squad.

No4, I'm not confident  for this season. I know transfers take time but the same muppetts are still overseeing them. We have lost most of the goals and  creativity from last season yet we are still parading around  like prime Pamela Anderson, yet our tits are on our knees and arse dragging the floor.  Until reality kicks in we will disappoint.

1 - No

2 - Not necessarily, probably doesnt matter where he does his job from

3 - No but moving in the right direction

4 - Hard no, ticket policies and general treatment is a bit off.

5 - Yes. Go figure.

1. No, in every sense. The club should have pulled them out of this joke of a tournament.

2. Yes, though I'm not sure what difference it would have made given his incompetence in recent years.

3. Nowhere near enough. The Asia tour still tells me the board have got their priorities back to front. All about the revenue, with minimal preparation.

4. Not really. The community feel and the overall vibe of the supporters feeling like family has been gone for a while now. The club feels more like a business now than it ever has.

5. Not really. Relegation, followed by a poorly-organised preseason centred around an abroad vanity project with a stripped-down squad will not give fans much confidence for the new season.

Oh Vichai, I'm sure this isn't the legacy you quite had in mind.

People who were saying how good we're gonna be and xxx "will tear up the Championship" are gonna be in for a surprise.

I firmly believe that was the mentality of the board too. Too good to go down has quickly morphed into too good to stay down.

It’s said the club reads the forum.

They need to take note of 1-4. There’s PR work to be done and it doesn’t involve giving away a bottle of shit lager and a coconut.

Same deluded fans who still thought we were going to stay up .

They are still in hope of Everton getting points deducted for any reason possible.

"They" may read the forum.

However please don't think they give a flying feck about what the fans think.

Just like the FCC meetings its all a tick box.

Question 5, I think we will get promoted, but I'm not positive about the forthcoming season in the context of its role in our future. We had a massive opportunity to clear out the dead wood, massively offload the wage budget from player sales and sign some really gritty young players with a point to prove. Instead we have the same spineless group of players with a few faces missing and a few new faces. Ultimately if we go up this season, we will be looking at another rebuild next summer, which is not a stable position to be in. The club is an absolute joke.
