think the only reason Hermansen isnt number 1 is he dont wanna step on toes so to speak, if it was free im sure he'd a gone for it

 

it is interesting Brunt hasnt got a number, think he could be one on the way out

I think Brunt's appearances last season were motivated by politics i.e. "look at how bad my squad is" rather than anything to do with his ability. I'm sure he'll have a decent career somewhere but there's no way he should have been anywhere near a Premier League team, even one as shit as ours. Bringing him on at left back against Forest was scandalous.

Probably in his contract. It’s why a lot of clubs who sign replacement number ones often don’t give them the number until the old **** leaves

Hermansen usually wears #30. Must have a significance to him. There's only been 2 season were he's played a season in the first team wearing anything else. A lot of his reserve and youth team time, he's wore it too.
