Just said the same to my son, even a half hearted attempt would have been a minimum requirement and amazed( well not really) that the club hasn’t made him.

Of he is anywhere near the squad tonight I think I might combust.

Staggering it's 3 days later and radio silence. 

 

Guess it demonstrates the poor culture and lack of responsibility around the whole club right now.

Disgusting yet unsurprising. There has been zero responsibility or accountability from anyone at the club for years, so they wont start now.

There was a moment last night that perfectly captured the ridiculous cuckoldry among a large portion of our fanbase…

 

Winks, having had every touch in his half time warm up booed and had numerous renditions of ‘what a w4nker’ directed at him, barrels over to the SK1 corner to take a corner. 
 

You then have a quite ridiculous scene where the singing section are directing more ‘w4nker’ chants at him and both sides just out of the singing section in SK2 and the East Stand rise as one to give him a standing ovation. 
 

Thank fvck for the summer because I cannot bear to share the same stadium as these braindead cultists anymore, it’s almost more depressing than the state of the Club in general.

I think those fans just wanted him to encourage him to take a good corner and not see the club relegated mate.

 

Winks was clearly unpopular amongst the fans. That doesn't mean they don't want him to score or assist a desperately needed goal.

 

I was surprised he was included in the squad and the decision to bring him on after the first feel-good moment in months sums up Rowett's emotional intelligence.
