Second week running his mistake has cost us. Pathetically weak and immobile. Despise him and everything he stands for in terms of overpaid players at this club

It was the other Chuckle Brother last week wasn't it?

Even if it were true I'm just sick of the sight of both of them. That new deal we gave him was absolutely criminal

Most of the game he looks really good but he always has a moment. Mistakes happen but last night is just another one to the collection. It shown everything wrong with him, ponderous run and weak in the challenge. Also love how he constantly goes for a diving header when its about an inch off the floor.

Absolutely no doubt that he was at fault for their goal tonight. Other than that mistake he actually defended quite well tonight

For the most part yes, but there were a few other moments where he was very poor. That really dodgy pass/clearance from Thomas was in the first half was Vestergaard's fault as he was in no man's lands. Straight after the goal, his awful defensive header almost contributed to another goal. And there were definitely other moments.

Problem with him is that he has to be absolutely perfect in his positioning because of he is isn't, he gets absolutely burned

Yet another game goes by where other players get pelters (rightfully so) but Vestergaard seems to escape the ire. The fact he's been virtual ever present and we're so poor says a lot. Shouldn't be picked again

The difference with Vestergaard is I don't think he's not trying, he's just shit.

If he had the pace and physicality of Okoli, he wouldn’t be playing for us. Reality is technically he’s better than all of our other defenders and half of our midfield.

He just can’t get about the pitch and playing a high line is criminal, if you haven’t got players around him to compliment his weaknesses.

We could have Prime Maldini at centre back last night and with Faes, Choudhury and Aluko, we are still shipping goals.

Long past his best whenever that was. He's 33 now.

About half our squad are feasting on former glories and certainly can't mange the travel and extra games during international breaks at their ages, coupled with the intensity of a Championship season.

I was thinking about this on the way home last night. Most of the squad weren't involved in any former glories. The highlight for most has been winning the Championship last time round, because they came in after or were on the bench when we were good. Only exception is Ricardo.

So they're as successful here as the likes of Dean Hammond and GTF, but below them because those two never got relegated here. That's the level the majority are now at.

When I say 'former glories', it's a low bar!

Agreed, last night truly exposed him with the ridiculous tactics, at various points in the first half the entire back 4 was well into their half, and with no defensive midfielders sitting in all it takes is someone to give the ball away (Fatawu) and suddenly we're cooked.

To play a system where you have him next to the clown Faes, Hamza thinking he can play that inverted full back role and a kid, with 2 lightweights like Winks and Skipp against a team of quality on the counter attack is just moronic. Would need Fofana like pace to be able to recover once we lose the ball.

Thought 2nd half, when we played deep, he and the defence actually looked relatively fine, maybe a blue print to how we can set up to be a bit better defensively.

I'm fed up about posting about him. He's shit. Always has been. Nothing will ever change my mind. Given the transfer fee and his wages, he is one of the worse players I've ever seen at the club. Can't do anything.

I can't believe we extended his contract after we got promotion. It was blatantly obvious he'd be exposed in the Premier League and now he's too slow for the Championship.

We should have thanked him and let him go. Rudkin must have got sucked in by the, "so-and-so have offered £80000/week" bollocks that agents always pull.

Probably because his passing stats look 'ok' on stats websites, and people get blind sided but whats going on.

The type of game he provides is no good to us, and at 33 he isnt changing and certainly not getting any quicker.

He has to go when Okoli and Nelson are back.

We held all the cards in that situation, Rudkin truly got bent over. Maresca left on the 3rd of June and we announced Vestergaard's extension on the 7th!!!

In his prime he was shipping 9 to us and was bombed out of our squad a season and a half later for being crap under Rodgers.

How he is still here is bewildering, even more bewildering is that Nelson couldnt play over these centrebacks for most of the season despite looking very assured when he came in.

He's undoubtedly ****ing honking and there's no way he should still be here.

BUT - and hear me out on this one - at least he looks like he cares. He was going apoplectic at the rest of the team after their second goal yesterday.

The rest of them wander around either looking totally gormless or like they're about to cry.

If he were a professional basketball player, the world would see the first 198 cm tall individual who can't slam dunk.

What a disgrace...who can remember the last time he scored a header...or even tried to?

Rudkin and Top....the laughing stock of professional football, Dumb and Dumber...but with the late great Dad's money to burn.

Let’s say that it was Enzo that forced for Jannik to get a new deal.

At what stage would any manager have the input to state the length of said deal?

How many clubs (successful ones in particular) give out more than 1 year deals with an option of another year to 30+ players?

We’re a total shambles.
