I really like Jakub, genuinely think he cares deeply about the club, still think he is a quality keeper who will have a decent career, this season I honestly believe he has been dragged down by the dogshit standards and culture, yeah he has made mistakes but when you have a team in front of you barely breaking sweat it must be pretty demoralising. 
 

Hope he stays and becomes part of our new start and helps the going academy players bed in, think his attitude and commitment will be infectious and a key role in next season.

Jakub just doesn't look to have progressed at all, he's massively regressed. From the eye test alone, the Jakub that stepped up when Mads got injured is lightyears ahead of the one we have seen for much of this season, i'm sure statistically it would be hard to compare, I was fully expecting Jakub to really step up as the #1 and at least take the burden of having to find a #1 goalkeeper away from us for the considerable future. 
He's obviously good enough for League 1, and in a better side is an upper Championship keeper who could still step up to the top flight in future, but I think he's a player that has suffered in a similar way that Justin did, if he goes to another club he may thrive and improve, with this ownership, and this squad, and this lack of culture building from the management/coaches, he's regressing. 

If the next manager is a leader and brings in some real leadership players, Jakub could easily become that player that we don't have to worry about.

Hope for him he gets a move with a year left on his contract but won’t really make us much. I think he’ll go on to do well elsewhere where it’s not a toxic cesspit.

He's par for this level, but either way, there's no way we could afford his wages. Any 'legacy' player apart from the youth will be on too much for us to carry.

You've got to take a long hard look at yourself if you're deemed to be not as good as Alex McCarthy.

 

I liked Jakub in his early career, I thought he had a lot of potential, but he's never really improved on the glaring weaknesses in his game.

1st goal is all on the defence

 

2nd goal is on Woyo and no one closing down the shooter - Jakub had no chance for the shot

 

3rd goal he should probably be at least jumping for it at the end but I think he thought it was going over but the shot was absolutely perfect to be dropping just onto the underside of the bar, his positioning that far out is pretty standard these days for keepers so I am not gonna throw that at him as a reason for it being his fault

He’s better than McCarthy. He actually makes saves. Saved a point blank shot from Akbom and a one on one with the same striker. Balls just roll past  McCarthy into the net (see both goals v Burton.) McCarthy is Ward V2.
