Leicester City's top 10 best ever managers in order of win percentage (Ranked)

In 58 years of actively supporting the mighty blues (I'm 65 now), the most entertaining period of that time was without doubt the MON era at Filbert St, not only for the regular visits to Wembley and the top 10 epl finishes, but my son was also in the academy for 3 years at that time ( almost fulfilling my boyhood dreams) Although my trials as a teenager at Belvoir Drive when Jimmy Bloomfield was in charge and I got to meet my heros Lenny Glover, Keith Weller and Graham Cross, came pretty close. I was living in Cyprus during the epl title winning season and got to organise a mini LCFC supporters group  where we streamed every game home and away, illegally I'm sure, on TV in our pub/supporters club, and believe me we had some wild times that season, but I made sure that I was back in the Citeh to experience the atmosphere and  sheer jubilation of our last home game against Everton, something that I'll never forget and would never have missed

Difficult to choose between these great times and great managers which is why I consider myself so lucky to have supported the greatest  team in the world from childhood to old age. Tell you something, it's rarely been boring and my allegiance will never change whoever owns, manages or plays for my team.

And some people say Gillies was the best of the lot.

He would probably be branded a "bottler", by the asame people on here, with how we ended up winning nothing in '63.

Rodgers really was his own worst enemy. The win percentage in his first 2.5 seasons were phenomenal. But then he changed too much and was too stubborn to go back to his orginal tactics.

Why's everyone referring to Brendan as 'Rodger'? Is this an in joke i haven't been made aware of?

Loads of weird insults thrown around.

All from grown men on the internet. Very strange.

Looking at managers who have had a lengthy spell in recent history,  Little, O’Neill, Pearson and Rodger all have impressive percentages. Little took over a team that had nearly been relegated. O’Neill turned a Championship squad into a regular Premier League team. Pearson turned the club around and built something great but it has to be remembered a lot of his wins came at a lower level. For Rodger his whole spell was in the top division but he did inherit a very good squad.

Dunno but he delivered the great escape and finished 14th with a shit team so must be pretty good. When you compare it to the squad Rodgers got us relegated with it emphasises his crazy achievement with us in the prem.

It really wasn't a shit team.

Win % is probably not everything a manager can deliver or to consider. There is the squad cost, Ranieri famously fielded the £23mn team week in week out. The Rodgers team a short while later was nearer £150mn but the results were not many times improved. Pearson got to dominate lower leagues which might be easier than dominating the EPL? We all know who the best managers are of those here for a while and in the last 50 years that has to be O'Neil and Pearson. They got the very best out of what they had available at the time and over a period of time.

None of our ex-managers from the last 50 years have ever gone on to better things. Sure, some have gone onto better jobs but they haven't exactly set the World alight and are often sacked within 2 seasons.

On ex-managers, its interesting to see how Brenda is settling in back at his old job:

"Can't tell whether he's sucking the life out of the team or vice versa, but all of them look, play and sound absolutely flat."

Taken from a Celtic forum, a comment from today - reads somewhat familiar, I can relate to that.
