We could do a lot worse than Chris Wood with 48 hours to go, could be an easy one to get over the line with it being an icebreaker in the Ndidi deal, Wood wouldn't have to move house and family and he's already on the Forest bench with Batshuayi expected to join Forest imminently.

A goalscorer who holds the ball up well and can bring our attacking midfielders and runners into play and it never hurts to have another aerial threat in the side defensively or offensively.

Apologies, I thought you were being fascetious.

Sell Iheanacho to Wolves, sell Ndidi to Forest and get Chris Wood on loan.

I'd definitely take Wood. I think he'd suit the system well and gives that focal point for the wingers and 8s. Or for hermansen to hit when needed.

Always scored goals, would settle quickly and could be easier with the ndidi deal. But if they're selling Johnson, I doubt they'd want to let him leave.

🆕 Kelechi Iheanacho: Understand that Crystal Palace is pushing for the 26 y/o striker and would be ready to pay between £10-15m all-in. @CPFC

➡️ Leicester City demands £18m
➡️ Negotiations are stalling but Iheanacho is keen on the move.

Nothing new really.

Can see why we would sell at £18million but we HAVE to have a very capable replacement ready to join to even entertain the idea of selling.

Promotion is so important this year, as the longer it takes to get back there, the harder it will become and we could get stuck for years.

Add £2m to the price each day….

By the time the loans go out the wage bill will be dramatically smaller.   It’ll also get a lot smaller again with the various contracts that run out in 2024.

We should channel our full Daniel Levy for this and Wilf’s transfer

Always scored goals, just not many of them.

Wood replacing Iheanacho would definitely be a downgrade.

Chris wood is a target man. He's not got the technical ability or the mobility to fit into a Maresca side..

No real links to any strikers and less than 48 hours to go with Daka still here!

We can't lose our starting striker now. Too late.

Take the hit on the potential of him walking away for free but hope he plays a big part in a promotion and maybe renews in the summer.
