I had my one and only hot pork pie at Elland Road back in the 70s.

Bit into it and - not surprising when you think about it - the jelly had turned to a hot liquid which squirted out and ran down my scarf and coat.

I stank of it all the way home on the coach.

I have only ever been served a hot pork pie… never done it myself and you’re right it might have been all about the mushy peas!

I always thought the food at Burton Albion was best I've had at a ground. On these football good pages it's incredible how much worse the food gets the bigger the club is. Some quality stuff in non league.

Yep I've always through Burton was good.

Large traditional pizzas for a tenner and mash burgers at the Poppies.

It's £3something a pint too.

Seen a picture of the pizzas they look fantastic.

They are good - and completely not responsible for me being hospitalised at the weekend after eating some.

Burton Albion do some great food, LCFC women’s conti cup games played there, had a huge box of chips and sausage for £4.20

Everything is reasonably priced, nice staff too.

Not trying to be culturally insensitive or anything, but this looks like a big poo. I don’t think I could eat it…

I’d be worried it might come out the other end in a similar bulk.

It would destroy my prison purse.

Kidderminster Harriers did a great pie

One of the best meals I've had was about a mile from the ground. She tasted awesome 😆

Thought that was going to take a worse turn than just smelling of pork pie on the way back.

Brentford always seem to pop up on these, good food and not too expensive

Crikey that looks better than a lot of sit down places, and it's scarcely more than a pint is now at our place. In London!

We're so shit at so many things.
