Surely that photo was taken at the wrong stage of the digestive process??

They had to be really sure that the shrew inside was properly cooked 😋

I would hazard a guess that there isnt a market for decent vegetarian food at football matches. At the end of the day money talks so the lack of effort is telling.

I'm sure there is plenty of appetite for better food, veggie stuff included.

The problem is all the people still paying for the shit 'meat' pies and sausages that they do serve.

Best I've ever had is the pie at Morecambe. Mash, Peas, Gravy to boot.

Completely agree!

Close joint second were pies at Rochdale and Rangers.

I do miss a standard chicken and balti pukka down City back in the day though. Pure nostalgic smell.

The current Bombay Bites prices make our concourse prices look reasonable.

One doesn't eat prices..

High % of football grounds should be ashamed of themselves.

Plus to a certain degree the owners of the club's should be too.The crap franchises around the grounds..Owner should go around and see the swill that under their Name is being dished out.

The British have the knack of making a general  decent business of destroying a basic product for consumption then serving up swill in the name of food at

Football grounds..

The most incredible partner in this big con, is the Fan himself, for buying the shit..wrapped in paper/box,or served up on a non-eviromental-friendly catering plate.

And the Twats do it week in,week out.then have the audacity to keep complaining to all and sundry, except to the relevant  people who matter, and will do so for 60-80years.

These very  same people, will turn out acting more demur & sophisticated, with their GF or wife on their arm maybe even family, then  will rightly scream out,or quietly ask for the chef/manager and belay how anybody dare serve up such a disgracefull concoctions on their regular Lunch or night out...And will swear never to return..

It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously

It wasn’t!

The only serious part was me asking if it was hospitality?

I’m all for a food topic in any shape or form, I don’t really care what part of the stadium it comes from

Pork in a bun at Viktoria Berlin.
💶 €4.50 (£3.80)

£3.80 good price for that, some clubs charge £4.50 for a cheese burger. Once again English football fans ripped off.

I did have a great veggie pie at Tottenham last year. Excellent set up there. Whilst Spurs amuse us on so many levels, their new stadium is fantastic, and facilities for away fans are good. Even though the combined score on my two visits in 2022 was 9-3.

Most of that nosh is definitely not from the actual stadium

Our catering contract with Compass is up next year I believe.

I swear people have been saying this for the last 3 years or so

Probably because it's true. The contract was extended during COVID IIRC.

If we make it back up, it's definitely time for a change. Our concourse nosh is absolutely woeful (the balti pies get a pass and can stay)

If we're serving Thai beer, why not Thai street food on our concourses? Oooof.

Or celebrate the culinary heritage of our own city and county.

If you ask anyone in the UK where you can get good Indian food, Leicester would be in the top 10 alongside Bradford, Birmingham, Brick Lane etc. Have Indian street food in the concourse. Melton Mowbray pork pies. Stilton cobs.

The stuff served up at the KP is the same served up at the other 91. Let's set ourselves apart a bit.

I went to a game in San Jose a few years ago and the standard of football food in the states is miles ahead of us. Amazing tacos, BBQ, Middle Eastern wraps, loads of choice and all good quality. Exactly the kind of food you find out and about in food carts/pop ups in the city which is why some Indian street food would be great at the kp.

Football fans in the uk get a bad deal all around.
