Imagine if that was Barnes

Don’t need to imagine, he did very similar many times over the years 😅

Barnes clearly the superior finisher and is super direct, but Mavididi is better on the ball/at dribbling and works pretty hard defensively.

Nacho getting no balls at all, every time a pass is on to him either a shot is taken or pass another way instead.

We also failing to win back quickly in this game,. lots of almost moments but rotherham playing around it.

Just tuning in now. Let’s bang some more goals and in out this to bed. We can finish top of the table today!

It’s good how shite the bottom half of this division is cos we’ve been crap again. We’ve managed 56 passes in their half, are people just pretending it’s not poor and boring?

I mean Rotherham aren’t even interested in playing a football match and they’ve managed 92.

Really mixed half there. Some lovely play and some absolute honking football.

Pretty much what I was going to say.

KDH didn't keep the ball with any of his touches in the first 20 minutes.

Lucky for their Goal to be chalked off but will take every bit of luck.

Some bits of play we do look like man city, one touch passes in and around their players which takes them out and we get it up the pitch quickly, then the next we pass it straight to them or out of play.

Lots of play acting today from both sides holding faces etc.

We need more from Mavididi, just not convinced at all.

And me, I’m not sure on him. He looks okay in patches…… but he definitely is lacking something. If these rumours are true with two wingers coming in, he could find himself out of the team if they’re any good.

Not convinced about that either, tends to just run into players or attempts a nutmeg. His success rate of take ons must be pretty low.
