Did Ricardo get away with a hand ball late in the match? Looked like it but no replay so it was hard to tell.

Looked like it to me. Only saw that replay once mind.

I think what is the biggest concern is this 15-20 minute period we have in the second half where we fall apart….. we seem to give up a lot of attacking opportunities to the opposition, and the fear is better teams will take advantage in this period

It's hard to fathom because we actually played the same as we'd played before half time as far as the tactics are concerned (from half time til they scored we had 68% possession and completed 54 out of our 57 passes!) And yet Rov had 3 shots and won 3 corners despite only completing 16 passes.

The only thing i remember that was different to the first half was that they were pressing us much higher, the goal coming from a poor hurried hoof from Mads.

we are better than 75% of the league, it's the rest we're competing against for those top 2 places, that's the real test. We need depth and goals. KDH needs to find some form, Ndidi and Vestegaard need benching, It'll be interesting how we do against Southampton, really looking forward to Coady starting and wouldn't mind a player pushing KDH for his place

I’m really concerned  that Whelan and Rudkin are going to see the 100% record so far and wonder why we need to spend more. To the average fan, it’s painfully obvious that Ndidi in a CM role doesn’t work and goodness… Vesty… his shortcomings in the champ are there for all to see.

we’ll get absolutely turned over at games like Norwich away and a few other teams.. it feels like we are 1-2 injuries away from struggling.

now, don’t misunderstand me.. our start is very encouraging and we have had some great performances   From individuals and we are doing well… but we can’t think ‘ we’ve made it’ we have to build on the start we’ve made..

macateer scoring two goals gives us a big headache.. the lad did great.. but  again.. I hope  Susan and  Jon don’t scrap plans to bring someone in for that position..

Yes we make our own luck by being fitter and creating space.

However, I'm not a huge fan of us having to leave these winners late and not taking chances earlier on. Riding luck with only conceding one or their strikers being poor.

Agreed, finishing needs to be better but that will come. Id be more worried about  beating teams 5-0 at this stage, we are building nicely and overcoming tough (for the league) opposition. Just goes to show how clincal the prem is, half a chance and its a goal. I'm surprised at the standard of finishing in this league so far.

Honestly feel like Iheanacho should be dominating at this level, but that was yet another disappointing performance from him.

Starting to think I either over-rate him or he’s maybe a little unmotivated with his current situation…

Not sure if it is the strikers' fault but so far this system seems more set up to create chances for the wide forwards and 8s than the strikers.

Did not really get much support to be honest I felt, he created Kasey’s goal, so all in all it was a decent performance from him.

That’s just him. He’s very inconsistent and always will be. But the end result is, he still set up the first goal … he’s always involved

he's not really playing like a striker though is he, we may even be better playing him in for KDH and playing with a dedicated 9

Created the goal, not getting much service… seems the way we play the wingers and midfielders are grabbing the goals. Not a problem for sure but I feel things will click and we start getting the ball in the right places for our strikers too

The run from Casadei to drag the full back in 🥰

That pass though

Those are his tactics in full force. Drag players around, isolate some of them 1 on 1, and then create a chance from it. It's why he wanted attacking midfielders and wingers. Mavididi had a great chance at the end of the first half too. These are tactics that are good to beat low blocks, because your threat is multi-dimensional and comes from many players and at different times.

We don't do it nearly enough, but we are making the chances. Hopefully with a few more missing pieces of the puzzle in this week, we will be good to go. McAteer was great today, but having competition for places and options to change the game helps us break through. Casasdei and Vardy coming on got us over the line in the end, even though neither were directly involved in the goal.

There was talk about Enzo ball not requiring a striker to play traditionally, and that our top goal scorer this season is likely to be a midfielder

So fed up of the idiots on here blaming Vestergaard he was very good today

I think it’s another example of fans not really knowing much of what they’re talking about, and becoming emotionally attached to their opinion and believing it as a matter of fact.

I think Vardy could run hot in this system and end up being our main man again.

Vardy’s movement has always been excellent, but for that to be effective you need other pulling players in different directions too.

well you can't argue with the system so far can you? I just hope Everton don't come and spoil it

Winning the first five is winning the first five even if it hasn't been pretty at times.

If we can get a new winger and attacking midfielder in the door we're looking really tasty but even if we don't I'm very confident we can get it over the line one way or another this season.

Didn't watch the game due to being in the wrong country but was glued to the Foxes Hub audio.

Early days, obviously, but are we actually showing signs of playing the new system any better than the first match? In the two home matches that I've been to, the first halves have been encouraging without taking chances but both second halves have been scrappy and disjointed as the opposition upped their game. From what I gather, today was more of the same. Not being negative as any sort of win is the most important but Enzo said we also need to examine the performance. Perhaps these type of performances are the best we can expect until the window shuts and might even need a second one at least until we start seeing the Enzo way at its best.

Can't knock winning 4 out of 4 though. Lovin' it (and Notts Forest lost).
