Reading their forum they’re not confident and expect us to win comfortably

Every time I see a comment like this pre-match, it typically means we won’t win.

Was a bit of a low point last year when they ran all over us.

Hoping for a good performance for (a little) redemption!

This was the game when I thought relegation was a real possibility. Dreadful game with a dreadful manager in charge.

Will this be the first time two Premier League winners have played a league match outside of the Premier League?

I would imagine so.

All other winners have never been relegated.

A good number of ex-players playing for both clubs:

Dickov, Paul Gallagher, Tim Flowers; amongst others am pretty sure.

Looked at their XI and literally not heard of a single player - my opposition championship knowledge is poor clearly.    2-4 with a Vardy brace

My general non/ex-LCFC Championship-player knowledge is non-existent, too - let's revel in our ignorance! :D

Every single forum has said that before playing us (little Cov aside). This is why Vardy is still occupying defenders, these teams and fans are judging us on the pots we've won not our most recent form

Sammie Szmodics ran the show against us last season, Sam Gallagher decent up front but since losing Ben Brereton Diaz in the summer they're lacking a proper star player, probably why they're bottom half this season not top 6 again.

...if I  recall, a team that passes well, young players that are brave on the ball and willing to play out in tight spaces!!!

They had the beating of us last season, as they had a cohesive plan and a manager who looked to play an attacking game against a team in a higher league.
