He certainly wasn't impressive in the air in his few appearances under Rodgers, but seems much better this season. I remember him ducking under high balls back then, so perhaps his confidence is better this season? Don't let me down on this one, Yannik! 1
lee7 Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Madness! I don't think i could predict our starting 11 if i tried. I like the unpredictability though. It keeps the players on their toes. 1
cityfanlee23 Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Ndidi dropped for Casadei, what does this man have to do?? If he's not exhausted and in need of a rest he simply has to start. 1
Popular Post coolhandfox Posted 7 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 October 2023 We have broken many a player over playing them. We have the best squad in the league we have to use it. 5 1

beepee1984 Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Enzo had hinted at JJ having a break so not surprised to see Hamza start. Iheanacho, Casadei & Akgul appear to be regular rotations, but all need to impress IMO as they are not who I would suggest are part of the strongest line up Surprise is Souttar gets the nod ahead of both Faes and Vestergaard
CloudFox Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Stoke having about 2 fully fit defenders and us casually rotating ours does take the piss a bit! In Enzo we trust.

We demand high intensity in those areas and I think as a result every time we do see Ndidi it will be a 100% Ndidi and not the 53 year old type relic we watched for 2 seasons prior.
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 7 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 October 2023 Changes seem fine and make sense to me Vestergaard back in for Coady Faes is away with Belgium and has started every league game so could do with a break Justin we can’t be starting every game, Hamza is our back up for that role currently Ndidi has been playing a lot and is away with Nigeria, Casadei needs to start some games at some point as well if we want to get the best out of him Yunus has been impressing lately and deserves a start Can’t start Vardy in 3 games in less than a week 6
CloudFox Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Be good to see how Souttar does today. Hope he does himself justice. 1
l444ry Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Pace at the back is the only worry. Must be expecting Stoke to park the bus and have an answer when they break?
Popular Post HighPeakFox Posted 7 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 October 2023 Players don't get dropped under this manager - I'm wondering when people will start to understand what's being done here. I'm certain the players will understand. 8

fox_favourite Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 (edited) The rotation does show one thing...how important Winks is that he isn't the one to be rested Edited 7 October 2023 by fox_favourite 2
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 Not sure Souttar is suited to Enzo’s style, anyway hopefully we just have a hell of a lot of ball in their half and don’t have to worry about it 1

Fox seen in Norwich Posted 7 October 2023 Posted 7 October 2023 (edited) Enzo said in his press conference Stoke like to cross a lot.. that’s the thought behind soutter I reckon… that and ex players like to nick goals against old clubs… let’s hope it’s in the right end tho Edited 7 October 2023 by Fox seen in Norwich

He can defend that’s for sure. Can imagine his popping up with a goal today.
